We recently spent a extraordinary week with TourLeb on their Lebanon's Artisans itinerary. The trip exceeded our expectations in every way even though 6 of our 7 days of visiting occurred after Lebanon was attacked by Israel and the country was at war. We had the impeccable timing of arriving 24 hours before the US/Israel bombed Iran and 48 hours before Lebanon was brought into the war. We booked tickets to leave once the war began however the earliest flight available was still 5 days out. In spite of these obstacles every day Nada and Joelle kept us not only safe but also exploring new areas of the country, meeting unique, interesting artisans, and getting to see the country through a lens that few residents and even fewer visitors will ever experience. The depth and range of the 20 or so artisans we visited with was unbelievable - from the last bellmaker in the Middle East to the artisan embroiderers of a Women's Cooperative in Chouf to Rudy Rahme, a world renowned sculptor, poet and painter to a retired gentleman who taught himself to make sunhats, purses, and other items out of palm leaves. We visited cities, countryside, mountains, and the sea. Historical highlights, experiences in nature and fabulous food were all part of the experience. Our schedule was very fluid, which as I understand, is par for the course in Lebanon however that element was definitely on overdrive with multiple areas of the country experiencing missile attacks while we were there. This atmosphere allowed TourLeb's ability to manage expertly in rapidly changing circumstances really shine through. The current conflict in Lebanon will pass and at that point I would urge you to run not walk to book a trip with TourLeb. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Our trip to Lebanon In February 2026 was enhanced by Joelle and her vast knowledge of her country. We had a walking tour of historic Beirut; a day visiting ancient Byblos and Tripoli; and a day in the mountain villages near the Jumblatt Palace ending with a wonderful lunch with a gallery tour in a delightful guest house. We had such a great time, Miss Nada was extremely thoughtful on welcoming a Mexican family of 8, she thought about every detail to make our tour not only pleasant but smooth, and the best part we had the whole trip guided in our own language! It was nice to have a closer experience with the local communities.

Tourleb organized many special, unique, and meaningful experiences with us throughout the trip. We saw some incredible sights, met some inspiring people, learned so much, and of course ate some tasty food. Tourleb made sure that to always have something planned while also remaining incredibly flexible. Also, I was somewhat nervous at various times throughout the trip, due to news alerts and travel advisories from the US Government, and Tourleb always was there to provide comfort, explain safety protocols, and change the itinerary if we wanted to. They were extremely accommodating in this and other regards. Of course, there is inherent risk in travel (and sometimes as an American this feels risk feels even greater, but this is probably an illusion), but Tourleb made me feel better about the risks associated and the experience was worth it!!
