Learn How to Lead Sound Healing Sessions — Not Just Experience Them
A 50-hour, hands-on training designed to give you the structure, confidence, and real-world skills to guide both 1:1 and group sessions.
This is a 50-hour, in-person Sound Practitioner Training designed to teach you how to confidently lead both 1:1 and group sound healing sessions — with structure, skill, and a clear understanding of what you’re doing.
You’ll learn how sound works within the nervous system, how to build and guide a full session, and how to hold space in a way that feels grounded, safe, and effective — not performative or surface-level.
This training is for you if you’ve felt the pull toward sound healing but don’t want to piece it together from random workshops, online content, or intuition alone.
Inside this container, you’ll develop:
A clear framework for how to lead sessions (start to finish)
Hands-on experience practicing in real time
The ability to work with both individual clients and groups
A deeper understanding of how sound supports regulation, processing, and rest
The structure of this training — spread across multiple weekends — allows you to learn, practice, and integrate in your actual life, not just in a single immersive experience.
So you’re not just leaving with information…
you’re leaving with experience, confidence, and the ability to actually do the work.
Students will complete The Embodied Warrior's 10 HR Fundamentals of Sound & Self-Healing as the first weekend of the comprehensive training.
Megan J. Hoeffner is the Founder of The Embodied Warrior — an international yoga and sound healing school rooted in the integration of science, nervous system work, and embodied practice.
With over a decade of experience in the wellness space, Megan has trained extensively across yoga, fitness, and sound, holding a Master’s degree in Applied Health Physiology and over 18 years of teaching experience in movement and group facilitation.
She is the lead instructor of The Embodied Warrior’s 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and 50-hour Sound Practitioner Trainings, and has guided students through immersive trainings and retreats both locally and internationally, including Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
Megan’s work is known for bridging the gap between science and energetics — helping students understand not just what to do, but why it works.
Her approach to sound healing is grounded in:
nervous system regulation
practical application
ethical, scope-aware facilitation
and real-world integration
She teaches sound not as performance or trend, but as a tool for regulation, connection, and intentional space holding.
Students leave her trainings not only with certification, but with the confidence, structure, and experience to lead sessions in a way that feels authentic and effective.
Through The Embodied Warrior, Megan has:
Hosted 15+ retreats and trainings worldwide
Trained and mentored hundreds of students
Developed both local and international certification programs
Built a teaching methodology that emphasizes integration over information
Her work continues to evolve alongside her own life — most recently, navigating motherhood while leading a global wellness business — bringing an added layer of depth, realism, and embodiment to the spaces she holds.
Megan doesn’t teach from theory alone.
She teaches from:
years of leading real sessions
building and refining trainings
working with diverse groups of students and clients
and continuously applying this work in her own life
This training is a direct reflection of that experience —

you’ll leave with the experience, confidence, and practical tools to lead both 1:1 and group sessions in a way that feels grounded, clear, and effective.
This training is designed for individuals who feel called to work with sound — not just for personal use, but as a tool for real transformation in their lives and the lives of others.
This training is for you if:
You’re a wellness professional (yoga teacher, coach, practitioner) looking to expand your offerings and support deeper, more tangible client transformation
You’re a massage therapist or bodyworker who wants to integrate sound into your sessions in a way that enhances your work without adding more physical demand to your body
You’re in a career transition or identity shift, and you’re craving something more aligned — while also wanting tools to reconnect to your intuition and inner clarity
You’re a high-achiever who’s used to pushing, performing, and staying “on,” and you’re ready to learn how to slow down, regulate your nervous system, and work from a more grounded place
You’re a business coach, facilitator, or retreat host looking for a modality that sets you apart — and allows you to offer experiences that go beyond mindset and create real, embodied shifts for your clients
This space is for people who are ready to:
learn a practical, skill-based modality
deepen their understanding of the nervous system
and walk away with something they can actually use and apply
You don’t need prior experience in sound healing —
but you do need a willingness to participate, practice, and step into the work.
You’re looking for a passive, sit-back-and-receive experience without active participation
You’re not open to practicing, receiving feedback, and being in the learning process
You want a quick certification without developing real skill or understanding
You’re uncomfortable being in both roles — student and practitioner in training
You’re only interested in the aesthetic or trend of sound healing, without a desire to understand how it actually works
This training is built for people who are ready to:
show up
practice
stay curious
and take this work seriously
Not perfectly — but intentionally.
