Join Nicole Cronin, San Francisco based yoga teacher and owner of a light-filled community yoga studio- The Pad Studios, as we immerse ourselves in a remarkable opportunity to receive the nourishing benefits of yoga, meditation, sound, beautiful meals & community at Lumeria Maui.

We will practice an invigorating, soulful, fluid Vinyasa flow style yoga both upon arrival and during our mornings together. The following afternoon's will be a mixture of slow flow & yin yoga.  Yogic wisdom and dharma talks will be cheerfully sprinkled thru out our time together.  And, a few of our sessions will be accompanied by Andrea Walls, a talented sound healer and musician. You're in for a treat!  

Andrea plays the Crystal Sound Healing bowls as well as the violin and Mbira- a traditional instrument from Zimbabwe.  The Mbira is a sacred instrument used for healing & to connect with the ancestors. It can take you deep into a healing state that promotes relaxation & getting in touch with inner guidance.  Crystal bowls are very powerful for clearing, energy flow & alignment. She also uses the Rain stick & chimes.

What a gift it is to be cooked and cleaned for!  Can you see yourself relaxing into 3 farm-to-table meals a day??... with the best fresh and local ingredients served at Lumeria’s full service restaurant- The Wooden Crate.

*Pricing for the 2024 Lumeria Maui Retreat includes lodging, three meals per day, and related taxes and fees; airfare and transportation costs are not included. Alcohol is not included, Wine/Beer available on-site.  Bodywork and spa services are available by lovely and talented staff!  Retreat deposits are non-refundable; in the event of cancellation made prior to March 30th, 2025 your entire payment will be refunded less the $850 deposit.

Where will we practice yoga at Lumeria Maui?

Lucky for us- there's a beautiful, spacious outdoor yoga deck for us to practice on AND a beautiful indoor yoga shala. We will practice yoga both indoors and outdoors, weather dependent. When it rains in Maui, it's a warm shower and cozy to be inside. When the sun is shining, it's a treat to practice outdoors amongst the warm weather and the sound of the birds.

What Should I pack?

*Sunscreen, hats, attire to practice yoga in, bathing suit and layers of clothing will be good things to pack so we can make friends with whatever the elements bring us.

How can I best prepare for this Yoga Retreat?

To get the most out of the retreat experience, it’s wonderful to arrive having nourished yourself with nutrient dense food, plenty of water, daily movement & good quality sleep leading up to the retreat. This all helps us to stay in good health so we can really receive the magic of the retreat experience. 

Does Lumeria's Restaurant welcome modifications for food allergies and preferences?

Lumeria Maui has been very easy to work with around any dietary preferences. They can honor, gluten free, dairy free and specific foods to omit from a dish. Simply send me your requests beforehand and I send them in to the head chef and it's all taken care of.  If you have any speciifc concerns or questions- feel free to send requests to me before you sign up and I can confirm we can accomodate them all.

What time is Check in and Check Out at Lumeria Maui?

Check in as at 3pm on Wednesday May 14th 2025. 

If you arrive early on Wednesday, May 14th, Lumeria can hold your bags at the front desk up to 2 hours before your room is available, or - check out one of the many great beaches, restaurants and shopping areas in both Paia and Makawao before checking in to Lumeria.
