Your expedition will start with a journey from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, where you will take a train to Kilometer 104 and begin your hike to Machu Picchu. The first day of the Inca Trail trip will take you through some of the most breathtaking scenery, including Chachabamba, Wiñaywayna, Sun Gate, and Machu Picchu. You will spend the evening at Aguas Calientes. On the second day, a private guide will lead you on a three-hour tour of Machu Picchu.

Day 1: Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Km 104 - Machu Picchu (16km, 8 hours) (16km, 8 hrs)
At 4:00 a.m., you will be picked up from your lodging and driven to Km 104-Chachabamba. You will ascend to Machu Picchu over seven hours, pausing at Chachbamba, Wiaywayna, and Sun Gate before arriving just before nightfall.
Day 2: Machu Picchu (The Incas' Lost City) (3 hrs)
You will be led around Machu Picchu's most important sights. The Machu Picchu hotel Belmond offers lunch. You will ride the Vistadome Panoramic Train back to Ollantaytambo in the late afternoon, followed by a private car back to Cusco. At approximately 7:00 p.m.
