About this trip

Navaratri is coming! A nine night and ten day festival (with two additional days of practice one day before the start and the day after the victory day), which is celebrated in many ways. One of the ways is in honor to the Goddess Durga.

This is the oldest and longest ongoing Goddess festival on the planet. In celebration and worship of Durga Devi and all that She stands for: justice, protection, strength, power-love-grace to do inner work and meet the world's challenges with poised fortitude and more.

She is the Goddess to call on for these times we all are steeped in around the globe. Durga helps us and has our back no matter what is happening in the inner and outer world (ultimately One). Her mantra and practices are tools to algin, awaken, and invoke Her signature qualities and energy to awaken in ourselves and everyday lives.

The immersion includes wisdom teachings of the Sakta text the Devi Mahatyam and Navadurgas, guided practices inclusive of meditation, pranayama, reflections, self-inquiry prompts, contemplations, yoga asanas, mudras and classical Indian dance in embody Durga and Her signature energy.

This offering will be held in an online learning portal.

Join us in individual practice and community celebration of Durga Devi and all that She stands for!

Maha Navaratri! Meaning Great nine nights of practice and worship of Goddess Durga, She Who Takes Us Beyond Difficulties, She Who is Strength and Justice. She Who Rides Upon a Tiger or Lion. She Who is Hard to Defeat and much, much more!

This is a special time to be in practice. There's a special field of energy that opens up to us all during this time with people all over the world in committed practice with Her. A field of energy that supports and fuels our own practices.

I will be co-guiding this immersion from my new home in the south of India and Ganga Devi from coastal Brazil.

We hope you'll join us in this ancient celebration and timeless wisdom of the Goddess as Durga and Her many empowered forms. Jai Maa! Victory to the Mother!
