After our hosts will pick you up at the international airport, you will drop your luggage and rest in your hotel room. We will start getting ready for meeting up with your group and hosts. 

We will discover the three pillars of Medellin transformation in comuna 4 & 13.

Formerly very dangerous areas, now rehabilitated, these two barrio districts will introduce you to Colombian extremely resilient spirit. Our lunch will take place at a rewarded family-owned restaurant highlighting Afro-Colombian food and culture. 

Finally, we will discover how girls and women transform their lives through sports, a lot of effort, and the help of a locally run NGO training them physically and mentally on women's rights and soft skills for life.

We will have a 2-hour road trip to the east of Medellin. In Guatape we will encounter the unique zocalo facades and discover who are the mysterious multi-millionaire people with real estate in the lake surroundings. After the 700 steps, we will call it a day.

We will land in Cartagena as fresh as local mangos so that we can enjoy the afternoon Afro style: discovering one of the most important African vestiges in whole of America: Palenque

After a comforting mud bath, a local Cartagena expert will take us on an astonishing tour to a local market off-the-radar. We will try all there is in there and discover corners where tourists don't go, just travelers. 

At the end of the night, we will have a special moment at a peace-building project an inmate-run restaurant where women who were once criminals are fighting for recovering a place in society.

You will have a free morning to enjoy it as you please. We will meet for lunch and then get to the farewells after an amazing adventure.
