Join Meesh & Colin for a transformational retreat to the Caribbean Coast of Colombia!
We will be spending 6 nights / 7 days out at the luxurious Gitana Del Mar retreat center, located on a wild and remote beach at the foothills of the impressive and magical Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the world’s highest Coastal Mountain Range.
This area is referred to as the Heart of the world, not only because of its geographical location, but more importantly because every single ecosystem exists and thrives in the Sierra Nevada mountains. There is no better place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, relax, and recharge.
During your retreat week, Meesh and Colin will offer daily yoga and meditation programming, as well as time to dive deeper into the philosophy of yoga with optional dharma talks.
Gitana will provide upscale, boutique accommodations, as well as nourishing, locally sourced meals provided by their fantastic private chef, and optional massage and Ayurvedic spa services. There will also be plenty of time to relax around the resort pool, or hang out on an oceanfront hammock, or schedule optional activities like hikes, snorkeling, beach horseback rides, and surfing. These activities will allow you to explore the gorgeous beaches, waterfalls, and mountains of the region. For more info on optional excursions, please click here.
This retreat also includes an all levels guided group riving tubing excursion to the nearby Don Diego River, which will be a highlight for sure!
**Airport transfers are NOT included, however, we will provide flight parameters once trip minimums are met, and will help to coordinate them for you. Please budget $10 - $35 cash each way for your transfers, which will be payable to your drivers.
About the Rooms:
ALL PRICING LISTED BELOW IS PER PERSON. See below for accommodation packages ranging from budget friendly triples and quads, to more private and upscale double and single occupancy rooms. We have a few luxury rooms, too!
Double occupancy rooms require that you register with a selected roommate. If you are traveling solo and looking for a shared room, please register for a triple or a quad room.
Payment Plan Info:
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot on this retreat. The balance is due 120 days prior to trip departure, OR it can be broken up into multiple, affordable payment installments if you email info@solseedretreats.com to request a payment plan.

Passport & Covid Entry Requirements
You must have a valid passport to travel to the Colombia. Please check your passport expiration date and make sure it is valid for the duration of this trip. A Visa is not required for US Citizens visiting Colombia, unless you are staying for more than 90 days.

Are there COVID-related entry requirements for U.S. citizens?
- As of May 1, 2022, visitors to Colombia ages 18 or older must provide proof of complete vaccination for entry or a negative COVID test (48 hours in advance of travel for an antigen test or 72 hours in advance of travel for a PCR test). Travelers should be prepared to show their original, physical vaccination card or digital certificate both at airline check-in and when passing through Colombian Immigration. The vaccination document must include the individual’s full name, date of vaccination, name of the vaccine administered, and the number of doses administered. A photo of one’s vaccination card may not be accepted. If you completed your vaccination scheme within 14 days before entry to Colombia you will also need to have an antigen test 48 hours prior to arrival or a PCR test 72 hours prior to arrival in Colombia.
- Travelers must complete Migración Colombia’s online Check-Mig form within 72 hours of boarding an inbound or outbound flight from Colombia. If the normal form’s website is down travelers can find a contingency website here.

Refund Policy & Trip Insurance
The purchase of travel insurance is required for this trip.
Most policies protect you against potential trip delays or cancellations due to airline issues, family emergencies, illness, injury, etc. The travel insurance will also demonstrate to the host country that you are able to pay for any emergency services which may be necessary during your stay.
SolSeed is not authorized to sell travel insurance. Any offer to purchase travel insurance that you encounter during the checkout process are third party offers. You are free to select your own policy provider. If you would like to review options in a convenient online marketplace, we like what www.insuremytrip.com has put together. We have also had great experience with Trawick International and their customer service, and heard very good things from AAA Members who have purchased their travel insurance through AAA.
We strongly encourage you to speak with a travel insurance agent to discuss your specific coverage needs, and to clear up any questions you may have relative to travel insurance coverage, including questions about COVID-19.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
All retreats include a $500 non-refundable / non-transferable deposit, which is required to hold your spot on the trip. Any balance payments made are also non-refundable / non-transferable. SolSeed Retreats can only make an exception to these terms if:
- The host government forbids us to visit as tourists.
- The host government forbids our vendors from hosting us as tourists.
- The US government forbids us to travel to the host country as tourists.
If SolSeed must further postpone or cancel the trip for any of the above reasons, all registrants will receive a refund of all deposits paid less $200.
If you refuse to comply with the laws of the host country, region, town, etc; SolSeed will not consider this a valid reason for receiving any refund. SolSeed will ensure to the best of their abilities that all registrants comply with all then current laws and regulations. Registrants are personally responsible for complying to local laws, at their own expense. Such expenses may include, but are not limited to:
- Proving adequate vaccination status
- Providing a negative PCR test(s)
- Providing proof of adequate travel insurance

These brand new bungalows and are perfect for a few solo travelers, or a group of friends. Each bungalow contains a shared bedroom four twin beds and an open air bathroom with hot water shower.
If you'd like this bungalow set up with 2 twin beds and 1 king bed instead that is also an option. Please indicate your bed preference upon sign-up.
**We have 1 spot open in an all female triple, and 2 spots open in a co-ed triple**
These bungalows offers a bit more privacy, and are perfect for a few solo travelers, or a trio of friends. Each bungalow contains 3 single beds and a private bathroom with a hot water shower.

**Please indicate your roommates name upon registration. We will pair you with like-minded roommates if you don't have one in mind. Rooms might be co-ed depending upon how registration goes, but we will do our best to pair you with ones of the same sex.
Our largest and newest space pays homage to La Sierra Mountain and its snow-capped peaks. It features one king bed and two single beds, and a luxury bathroom with hot water.

This luxury bungalow is perfect for two friends or a couple and features a gorgeous, all wood design. It is one of our largest and most private rooming options, secluded and set away from the other rooms. Within the room you will find 1 queen bed & 1 single bed, and a private bathroom with hot water shower. There is also a private sitting garden in from of the bungalow.
