Join us for a grown-up summer camp for your body and your spirit — filled with movement, adventure, breath, nature, and community.
This 3-day retreat, led by Hy Long, blends the joyful energy of summer camp with the grounding practices of a wellness reset. Think morning yoga by the river, a full day of whitewater rafting, afternoon workshops, and evenings of sound healing, yin, music, and connection.
It’s a weekend to play, recharge, move, breathe, laugh, rest deeply, and reconnect with what matters. Expect sunshine, river time, campfire vibes, intentional practice, and a community that feels like instant friends.
About Hy Long
Hy Long is a Marin-based yoga teacher, Nada Yoga Sound Bath guide, and spiritual practitioner who invites students to experience yoga as a homecoming - a return to wholeness where breath, body, and spirit move as one. His classes are grounded, invigorating, and creatively sequenced - blending soulful stillness, breath-driven movement, and a soft-focused intensity that meets you at your edge.
Hy’s Sound Baths weave crystal bowls, gong, and rhythmic sound through the vibrational pathways of Nada Yoga, guiding students from the Ahata Nada to the Anahata Nada - into deeper states of clarity, presence, and inner peace.
His studies includes a 200hr YogaWorks TT (Joan Hyman & Carmen Fitzgibbon), a 200hr Ananda Vinyasa TT (Lesley Desaulniers) and a 300hr YogaWorks TT (Michele Klink), along with Kirtan Camp (Jai Uttal), Sound Bath Level I + II Certification (Jamie Bechtold & Robert Lee), and Reiki Level II Certification (Sophie Demitra). We created Metta Yoga to bring a yoga studio to Marin County, CA that is dynamic and fun, yet still deeply rooted in yogic tradition. In the spirit of metta, or loving kindness, we created a beautiful space for our community to come together and explore the practice of yoga – both on and off the mat. We hope that Metta Yoga inspires you to live vibrantly, compassionately and joyfully.
