August is a great time to be on the Middle Fork! Our August trips begin and end in Salmon, Idaho. After we receive your booking, we'll be sending you all of the trip info you will need to start planning your Middle Fork adventure!

- lodging in SalmonYou'll need to book a room in Salmon, Idaho for the evening before your trip. We will send out more information on this in the Fall when hotels start accepting reservations for next season.
- Indian Creek flightDue to seasonal lower water, our August trips require a short backcountry flight into Indian Creek. The cost of this flight with Gem Air is currently $155 and is not included in your trip price.

WOW!! We had an amazing six days with MFWO! The guides are amazing! We loved seeing their compassion and love for the river. We felt very safe with them guiding/steering us thru the river. The food…OMG, THE BEST!! We loved to see how well they work together as a team. It definitely is a trip of a lifetime, we are so blessed that we were able to experience the Middle Fork with amazing guides, friends and new friends. This is a trip we will never forget. The guides will always have a special place in my heart. Tim, Dan, Lara, Brandon, Zack, Tanner, Brandon, Will, Mike and Ted…Keep up the amazing work and love you have for the river! We hope to see you all again!!

We had such a great time! Guides worked so hard both on and off water. Food was delicious although I wish they kept all food covered so flies didnt get on them. Beds were not super comfortable even with pad. Overall a wonderful experience!!

We had an amazing experience on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River with a very fun, experienced, and engaged river crew.
