We are excited to bring a Knit Social retreat to Ontario for the first time! This three-night retreat will take place at the Millcroft Inn and Spa in Alton ON, a restored 1881 knitting mill nestled in the Caledon Hills. This historic property operated as a mill until 1965 before being converted into a renowned hotel and spa surrounded by 100 acres of forest.

Joining us for this November 12-15, 2026 retreat will be none other than Gudrun Johnston!

Included in this retreat are three nights accommodation in a single occupancy room (that's right - ALL rooms are private!), all meals, workshop and knitting circle with Gudrun, a mini pop-up marketplace, swag bag and special evening events!

We've also built in plenty of down-time into this retreat, either to relax on your own, join some new friends for crafting time, or to enjoy the outdoor hot spring pools and cold plunge! Our guests will also receive a discount code for booking any additional spa treatments.

**If you'd like to have a non-knitting companion join you for your stay, they can do so at no extra cost. However, no meals or activities will be provided for them. The hotel main dining room and spa cafe will be open to the public during our retreat (retreat guests will have a private dining space). Email us if you have any questions about this!

Regardless of cancellation date, you will receive a full initial deposit refund if we can fill your spot from a waiting list.

If we cannot fill your spot from a waiting list, the cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellation up to and including October 12: refund less 25%

October 13-October 28: refund less 50%

October 29 - November 12: no refund

Our retreat will start with a welcome dinner and evening presentation.

Friday we will have the opportunity to learn from Gudrun, enjoy the hot pools, and enjoy lots of knitting and social time.

Saturday we will continue learning with Gudrun with the whole group, plus our mini marketplace and more free knitting or hot pool time!

Sunday we will enjoy a final farewell breakfast before making our way home. Check out is at 11am.
