We had a wonderful trip to Anaheim! I felt like it was very planned out and we were always on schedule. Everyone was very friendly, including the bus drivers! It was just overall great trip thank you!

Mountain Ridge Band Huntington Beach, CA

Disappointing, frustrating and unpleasant. Only two tour guides for our group of about 250 people, It was chaotic and disorganized. Chaperones had to figure everything out on their own, and multiple times we were forced to wait long periods of time in uncomfortable situations and outside in cold, rainy weather. There was an extreme lack of preparation,, planning, organization and extremely poor or no communication, Timing was not planned for travel to and from destinations within New York City, there was no guidance for use of public transportation, and multiple people were either late or missed out on activities that they were looking forward to.

The kids loved the trip so much. Lots of walking, but we were up for that. 

Our son had a great experience and was safe while in New York City even though there were only 2 tour guides for the student group of >100,

Heather and Bryant were incredible guides. I can't imagine going on a trip like this without them!

I signed up to be a chaperone on this trip, and even though it was a great trip, the tour guide and company lacked on multiple fronts.
With such a large group (200+)and only having 2 tour leaders was completely unacceptable, this left chaperones to fend for themselves and their group. When we were in groups, communication was lacking-we had no idea of changes in the schedule until the very last minute, then felt rushed to group up and many times people were left behind in busy areas making them find their own way. 
The Hotel was in no way capable to accommodate a group of our size, 25 floors with 2 elevators that could only fit 8 people- hotel breakfast that the students were not allowed to actually go down to eat- but was delivered and some rooms were missed, that caused added stress to everyone. Food Group orders were often shorted, and some people did not get to eat a meal that was included in the tour. 
My daughter and I traveled before the group and therefore did not pay for the airline ticket provided but felt the food stipend and travel cost (shuttle etc) that were added to the all-inclusive price should have been given for those travel days- we missed out on 3 meals that I feel was still part of the all-inclusive tour. 
NYC was beautiful, fun and exciting but unfortunately the tour company did not plan accordingly for our group size, location and overall organization to help make it run smoothly.


I was amazed at all the planning that happened to make this trip possible with so many youth and adults. There were many details worked out to get the instruments where they needed to be, to get meals to us, and to communicate where we are going and when. We were able to see so many great places in a few days. Thanks for all your efforts! It was a wonderful trip!

This whole trip was just amazing. Sara did such a great job putting everything together. One of the best parts was that if there was an issue with the trip, I did not have to worry about it. Sara took care of everything. Now we did not really have any big issues, but I think that is just because the planning was so well done. The students I took had a blast and were able to bring so many valuable memories and lessons back. As a teacher, it was so nice to go on a trip and have someone else in charge of all the details like room, food, activities, and transportation. This allowed me to just focus on my students and help them with their photography. Every part of our trip was handled professionally. I would have no problem sending my child on a trip with Infinity. They made sure everyone was safe and that the students were taken care of. I will never tour without Infinity again. I can just not say enough about how well the trip was put together and run.

The food at La Melo's was good and it was nice to sit down and enjoy a meal without rushing.  I also liked that we had a group reservation at the Met which allowed us a secure space to leave our coats and umbrellas.  The flight out of La Guardia was really smooth and nice.  It was also good to have all the metro cards and physical Broadway tickets before we left Utah.  That saved a lot of time getting on the subway the first time.  The Broadway Up Close Workshops were incredible and the staff and presenters for that organization were so good at their jobs!

The accommodation was not in a safe area at all.  There were homeless individuals doing drug deals just outside our hotel.  The hotel did not have security at the front like many hotels in NYC.  There was an incident where a homeless individual came in to the lobby and was berating our students for not giving him money.  The chaperones had to physical create a barrier until the hotel staff could get more help to have him removed.  The hotel had a hard time accommodating the amount of visitors at one time.  They only had two elevators for more than 30 floors of rooms which created some issues with baggage.  More time at the 9/11 Museum is required.  2 1/2 hours is not enough time to see all that the museum has to offer especially for teenagers who were not alive when it occurred.

I know that a lot of extra work went into planning this trip after Infinity Tours sent the itinerary because of the logistics of getting 60 people around New York.  I am not quite sure if it was because of the size of our group or the fact that faculty has planned and executed 10+ trips to NYC without an outside company, but this trip did seem to be more stressful and more rushed than trips in the past.  We did have sufficient free time, but when we had events, they were booked closely together and with limited time to travel to those destinations it felt overwhelming and rushed.

This was a great trip! I was amazed at how organized it was even though we had a huge group. The logistics of putting our tour together must have been quite the challenge, but it all seemed to go pretty well. Salem Hills Performing Arts

Over all it was a great experience.  One thing that was hard was feeling completely rushed! Running to everything.  Never sitting down to eat.  Just getting fast food cause lines are so long everywhere.  I’d suggest more time for meals…. I know it’s trying to fit everything in.  
Maybe New Yorks too big! We needed another day.  Also something that might have helped the wheel chair people,  A mapped out plan. Of all the bus schedules before hand.  
It was so fun and an awesome experience to hear the kids at the multiple places to sing! That was the best! 

Cedar Valley HS Choir Tour Additional Broadway Shows

We had a lot of neat experiences on this trip and made memories that we will never forget. Seeing the opera was an experience that I would never had had if it weren't for this trip, I wasn't sure at first that I wanted to go because I do not love the opera but it was cool to go and now I can say that I have seen the opera. The Summit ONE experience was incredible and one that I didn't even know about until this trip, we loved it. I am grateful for everything we saw and did on this trip. And with myself and my daughter having celiac disease, finding food proved to be a bit challenging. It was frustrating when we only had 15-30 minutes to find food and since we can't have street food, we were lucky to find what we did. But the restaurants that the group ate at offered delicious gluten free food. 

Things that would be nice to change for future trips: Making sure that people have sufficient time to find food, or providing a list of restaurants in the area you will be in for the day so they don't have to waste time searching, like in our case, it would have been nice to know what our options were for gluten free, especially since we really didn't have enough time to search up gluten free restaurants. We got lucky a few times and were able to find places to eat, but it was stressful not knowing if we would even find anything. And most of the places we went to didn't even know what gluten free was. Also, the trip was exhausting, it would have been nice to have more down time to recover. I felt like most of our down or "free" time that was on the schedule was taken up by many of the activities we did. A better balance of activities and down time would be great and I was disappointed that we only got to be in Central Park for a couple hours, most of which was spent at a performance, so we didn't really get to experience Central Park.

Thank you for all the hard work you put into this trip. Reflecting back at all the cool things we did has been really fun. 

While our team did very well on this trip, our travel accommodations were extremely poor and frankly NOT SAFE for the minor girls in our group. 

Flights were terrible with 7 hour travel time because of layovers. Direct flights would have saved 4 hours.

Coach/bus scheduled to pick up at Ontario airport, did not arrive on time. Our flight was slightly late, the team coach called the transportation company to find out where our bus was… it came over an hour late. 

The Residence Inn where we were booked was extremely unsafe! It was basically a homeless shelter with outside buildings. We arrived quite late the first night and hotel keys and rooms were not ready. One room waited over an hour (until 1:30am) for their key. Our minor high school students had to be walked to and from their rooms every time we left the hotel. Our girls never felt safe in this hotel! Other “residents” roamed the hotel grounds at ALL hours. We called security on several individuals. Guests rooms smelled of smoke and marijuana although they were designated non-smoking. There was an EVGO car charger in the parking lot. It was filled with cars lined up for charging night and day. We felt very unsafe walking our minor girls past those cars, but had to repeatedly because back door to hotel lobby was ALWAYS locked, no key entry working. The roof of the main building was covered with plastic sheets , possible to prevent leaking. We witnessed guests being checked into free rooms - for sheltering. Hotel management REFUSED to allow use of breakfast room for our group dinners which was ridiculous considering the amount of rooms we had booked. OVERALL THIS HOTEL WAS A COMPLETE SAFETY HAZARD! 

Our coach/bus for the final morning was also an hour late, or just not on the schedule, driver that finally came didn’t know our itinerary for that day. She thought we were going directly to the airport.  Her late arrival caused us to get stuck in traffic and loose precious touring time. 

I was extremely dissatisfied with Infinity Tours. I would never recommend them for student travel bookings.

Hillcrest Drill Parents

At first it was a little stressful but as the trip went on I had a lot of fun. I don't know if I'd go back but for what it was it was very good. Thank you for a good time.

The set up and communication with the agent was fine. The bus for travel was good. Nice drivers. One bus was an hour late for pick up in the early am. Not fun to get up early and wait. 

The Marriott Residence Inn Ontario Convention was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. (I’ve stayed in Marriotts all over the world)  Filthy, terrible smell,  broken windows, broken locks, disgusting breakfast. There were homeless people and scary druggies walking around. We escorted our young teenage girls everywhere because we were afraid for their safety. 
The ONLY positive was walkability to the Convention Center. 

McKenna is a fun and accommodating guide. The kids loved her! The tour was a great success! 

American Fork Choir to San Francisco, CA

We had a great time! Travel went smoothly and the hosts were responsive to questions and issues. I didn't love our accommodations and we had issues with ammenities (access to bathrooms and showers, no hot water, etc). We also had issues with the tour issued Till cards. Better communication about the purpose of the funds distributed (and less pushing of a company and their app) would have better served us for this trip. Overall a great experience, would go again (but definitely would pay extra for better accommodations).

Overall pretty good! One director forgot to book an event so the entire group had to plan something off the top of our head. 

It was a good trip, however we had little time between venues.  So it was hard to find time to eat and enjoy the culture.  The dorms that youth stayed in had opposite genders using the same facilities.  This made them uncomfortable as bathrooms are stalls and not in the room.  Also one event was in a bad part of New York and had no crowd which discouraged the kids. Other than that it was a great trip with over 200 people in a city that is vastly different than what we are used to.   Given the group size I would go through them again, just a few things that needed to be adjusted.   Great Job!!!!

There were a lot of great activities and events planned for the kids.  We are beyond grateful for these experiences, but the trip was over scheduled and wore all of the adults and most of the kids out.  With being on such a tight schedule, there was no allowance for the possibility of things not going according to plan.  And boy, there was a LOT that didn't go according to plan.  We understand things come up that are not in your control, but the lack of contingency planning and leadership put a huge damper on our experience. When the hotel did not have rooms ready on time, there was NO reason that chaperones should have been given rooms ahead of any children.  We had kids get their rooms 10 minutes before we were supposed to leave for Wicked when they were told they would have an hour and a half to two hours to rest and get ready.  When the pizza was over 40 minutes late, we had to grab a slice and run to the theater then get lost in the subway due to lack of leadership (this was the first day we were in the city and not yet familiar with the subway system). My group missed the first 20 minutes of the play and were starving by the time we got back to the hotel where they were given cold 3 hr old pizza (not worth the $20 allowance they should have had). Things did seem to run a little smoother once the chaperones were familiarized with the subway system and again, the experiences planned for the kids were phenomenal. (Broadway workshops, Broadway Shows, The Summit Experience, Choral performances in cathedrals, the Met, Central Park, 9/11 memorial etc..)
A review and purging of some unreliable vendors should seriously be considered before planning your next tour. Also, there should be some way to transfer any remaining Till card balance back to the students, especially when they did not have an opportunity to use the cards due to aforementioned unreliable vendors (ie bus transportation to the airport)

Overall, the trip went well, and we enjoyed ourselves. The Till cards seemed to be a big issue, but with a simple enough solution. 

Some of the down time needs better planning. The free time some places felt far too rushed, especially for students that needed extra time due to a medical need.

More time should have been spent on Alcatraz to better enjoy it. There was not enough time to get up the hills, see things without rushing, get through all of the tour, and back down to meet at the correct time. 

At the Peir there was not enough time to eat and take some time to relax and enjoy the time for the students.  Food in some of the places took time to make then eat and still be able to do things. It wasn't so bad, but at the time that was the best place to shop and some students didn't have the time. 

39 Steps was great, but the students were also so exhausted from the go, go, go that many fell asleep during the performance which is poor theater etiquette on our part as a school. 

Grace Cathedral and Chinatown were more of an issue. The time to work with Chanticleer was great for the students, but it didn't need to be as long and on top of their regular rehearsal too. They get bored, start to struggle with attention, and more. Risk to their voices getting tired could be a factor.  

Chinatown was poorly planned especially for the students with health needs. The walk there and back was more than 10 minutes and the steep incline was not taken into consideration. There was not enough time to eat lunch, get there, shop/explore, and then get back on time. It had already been a full day by that point and that just added to it. More down time should have been given then. 

Overall the trip was great, but just a few small things could have been better.
Mckenna was AMAZING!! 

Fun and educational trip! Meika went above and beyond to make sure our kids had a wonderful experience. She took care of difficult food allergies and restrictions and quickly changed the scheduled when needed to accommodate weather and shortened clinics.  Highly recommend the travel agency, but especially Meika! 

Clearfield HS Band Participants

We had a great time. The excursions planned were fun for everyone. The late night party cruise was an absolute blast! Our tour guide, McKenna, was EXCEPTIONAL! There was an issue with one of my daughter's meals not being GF, and McKenna went above and beyond to get her something to eat! She was always super kind and helpful! 

We had a great time & got to do A LOT in the time we were there! Our tour guides, Amy & Julie were awesome!!! Thanks for the super fun trip!!

Cedar Valley High School Drill in New York

Hi Carmen, thanks for your feedback. We recognize our flights are sometimes not ideal.  When we are working with district limits where we can only spend so much, we have to take the cheapest flight (which usually means a layover or not the best times) to make that trip happen at all.  A direct and flight can be upwards of $200-$400 more than a non-direct flight.  Ultimately, the teachers/directors decide on a flight based on this.  But we appreciate you taking the time to send us your thoughts. 

We had a great time with wonderful people. The flight plans could have been a little better.

We had a great time!  The people were great, the transportation was fantastic, and the whole experience was seamless and fun.  The food that was provided was my only complaint but I also understand that accommodating such a large group can be difficult.

We had an amazing trip with Infinity Tours & Events. As a teacher my goal is to bring history to life by exploring through travel and my students certainly were able to do that. Students learned so much as we traveled from Boston to New York to Philadelphia to Washington D.C. Our Tour Directors, Krislyn and Hailey, took great care of our group. Something I particularly appreciated about both Krislyn and Hailey was that they would always take into consideration our suggestions as the teacher chaperones and they let us add excursions not originally on the itinerary if and when it was feasible. That kind of flexibility is not common in most student tours. Also, the ability to be able to customize the tour and create a price point that we were comfortable with was another major benefit to working with Infinity. I have worked with Infinity on past tours and look forward to working with them again in the future.

My colleague and I have worked with a variety of tour companies specializing in student travel and have taken student groups to Europe and  locations across the United States.  We prefer to work with Infinity Tours over the larger student tour companies like EF and Explorica for a variety of reasons.  First, the owners work with us personally to curate the perfect experience for our students and take so much care in balancing our budget needs with our ideal itinerary.  Second, we don't have to share the experience with anyone else; it's a custom tour for our own participants alone, allowing us maximum control over the schedule and itinerary.  Third, Infinity is incredibly competitive price-wise, ESPECIALLY considering that it is a private tour + the level of customization.  We just concluded our fifth tour with Infinity, which was a tour of the east coast with an emphasis on American history.  They got 31 participants to Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, and Washington DC without incident and packed in so many historic sites + opportunities into 8 days - it was incredible!  Our full-time tour hosts, Krislyn and Hailey, were wonderful - navigating us to all the sites and handling transportation, hotels, and participants like the pros they are.  We love working with Mike, the owner, as we've worked together to provide these educational travel opportunities for students since 2017.  He is passionate about his business, and I especially appreciate how he has so diplomatically handled any feedback - he genuinely wants to grow and improve and has been really great to work with in that respect.  We already have our sixth tour in the works for June 2024 and can't wait for another amazing student tour!

We had a wonderful experience!  The events planned were spectacular, transitioning to all the sites went smoothly. Our tour guide McKenna was very organized, professional and really fun! We would highly recommend booking with this company!

D&P Best of Broadway with Infinity Tours

Of the 5 high school performing arts tours I have been on, this trip to San Francisco was my least favorite. I know one of the goals is to keep the kids busy and not have too much free time, but there was way too much packed into some days. The day we went to the Golden Gate Bridge could have been such a fun day, but we did nothing but run from place to place. We really could have spent another hour (or more) at the bridge. The hour (pretty much after waiting in line for the worker's explanation that most people couldn't even hear) we got at the Exploratorium was fun, but not worth the money that was paid. Then dropping off a bunch of students in San Francisco without more instructions than "you can eat at Westfield Food Court and explore Chinatown, meet at Portsmouth Square at 3:45" and "use navigation apps to help" turned out to be ridiculous. Especially for the group that sang at the Cathedral. Knowing that Westfield Center and Chinatown weren't near each other and that walking one way resulted in hills and one way was fairly flat, would have been great info to have. Ghirardelli Square was boring once (literally nothing to do there but buy chocolate or pay to mini golf). Twice was really silly. 

Night time stops really could be improved. I'm not sure if there were large travel centers that could have been used on this itinerary, but if there are multiple gas stations on an exit, it would be much better to split the busses up and use them all. Lines of 100+ people trying to use 4 stalls in  a women's restroom wastes time and is no fun for anyone who has been sitting on a bus for 3ish hours and now has to go to the bathroom.

Winchester house was fun, and they were so accommodating to help us get a place to eat after we were late arriving in San Francisco because of the weather. The Bridge would have been awesome with more time to spend there. The Exploratorium was fun for some and boring for others, but definitely deserved more time dedicated to it if it was going to be done. 

Better planning for meals would have been good. There was really no place to serve food from at Ghirardelli Square. We commendeered a set of stairs to try to distribute burritos as easily as possible (Also, there was no record of who ordered what, so people just got what they wanted and some people were disappointed.) At Alcatraz, we blocked a sidewalk while trying to serve and eat pizza. Chick-fil-a on the way home had no place to eat, no place for 200 people to use the bathroom and then we had no place to get rid of 40+ boxes when people were done eating on the bus. 

The clinic at Stanford was good. The bus driver on our bus (Collin) was amazing. Easily the best bus driver I've had on tour. Alcatraz and Pier 39 were fun. Dinner at Swiss Louis was tasty and well organized. The amusement park was clean and it appeared everyone was having fun. 

It's always fun to spend time with the kids exploring new places, but a little more organization, better planning and better communication would have made this tour a better experience.

Stephanie went out of her way to help our cheer team! We were so happy for her assistance to get Disney tickets and work with all the needs of our group. Very professional and kind!

I did have a good time overall but there were some parts of the trip that weren't planned well. We had way too much time at some destinations and not enough time at other destinations. For example, we had 3 hours at Ghiradelli Square which has about 4 shops and a few restaurants and then were only given 1 hour (including walking time to get there) at Pier 39 which is huge with many shopping options. The meals were the most frustrating part of the tour. We were only given something to drink at one of the meals. The  three other meals they had delivered to us did not include anything to drink. When we have been out all day, water is essential during meals. The pizza meal was also just delivered on the side of the road in downtown San Francisco. So we had to eat standing on the sidewalk, in downtown, with many vendors and people around and no water. 

It was so much fun and I appreciate all the work that went into making this happen!

like any trip with a group this big there were some hiccups which really was beyond any travel agents control, but I feel like Mike and Greta took ownership and did a fantastic job at making sure we were all taken care of.  I appreciate how attentive they were the whole trip.
