Machame Gate (1,800m/5,905ft) to Machame Camp (3,000m/9,840ft) Elevation Gain: 1,200 meters, 3,935 feet Hiking time: 6 to 7 hours Leave Moshi town to Machame Gate at 10:30am. After arriving at the gate you will register your climb while porters and guides making final preparations for climb. You will spend your day hiking through Kilimanjaro’s cloud forest. If the weather is clear, enjoy the striking views of your ultimate destination, Kibo Peak from machame camp site. Our porters and cooks will reach at the camp ahead of you to set tents and prepare the campsite before you arrive.
Machame Camp (3,000m/9,840ft) to Shira Camp (3,840m/12,600ft) Elevation Gain: 840 meters, 2,760 feet Hiking time: 6 to 8 hours Today’s trekking includes several uphill sections so carry plenty of drinking water as it can be hot hiking on a clear day. There are several viewpoints of pains and forests below, and the Kibo and Mawenzi peaks above. There is changing of vegetation as you gain altitude. The vegetation diminishes in size, giving way to Kilimanjaro’s famous high-altitude plants, Scenecio kilimanjari and Lobelia deckenii and others. Continue to Shira Camp and relax for some hours. You will have evening walk later at to acclimatize your body and prepare your stoma
Shira Camp (3,840m/12,600ft) to Barranco Camp (3,950m/12,960ft) Total Elevation Gain: 110 meters, 2,264 feet Hiking time: 6 to 8 hours Although this up and down day ends with an elevation gain of only 110 meters, by afternoon you will have climbed to a height of 4,530 meters before beginning your descent to Barranco Camp. After breakfast, hike towards lava tower and reach a junction of the Machame and Lemosho Routes in two to three hours. Continue on through the barren landscape before stopping for lunch at lava tower 4,530M ABMSL. After lunch descend down to baranco camp for rest of the day and overnight
Barranco Camp (3,950m/12,960ft) to Karanga Camp (4,200m/13,780ft) Elevation Gain: 250 meters, 820 feet Distance: 7 Kilometers Hiking time: 3 to 5 hours Leave Barranco Camp after breakfast for Karanga Valley camp. The day begins with an hourand-a-half scramble up the Barranco Wall. The wall seems to be harder to climb but your will find it is easier as you step on it. In some places you may have to use your hands to aid your climb. After reaching the top of Barranco wall, hike through fairly level terrain before making a short but steep descent into the Karanga River Valley. Karanga Camp is located on the ridge above the river valley
Karanga Valley (4,200m/13,780ft) to Barafu Camp (4,600m/15,100ft) Elevation Gain: 400 meters, 1,320 feet Distance: 6 Kilometers Hiking time: 3 to 5 hours After breakfast, begin the hike to Barafu Camp. On the way to Barafu, view several of Kibo’s glaciers as well as the junction that connects the descent route, Mweka, with the ascent trail. During the hike by far you will see Heim, Kersten and Decken glaciers. Although the trail to Barafu passes through alpine desert with little vegetation, there are stunning views of Kibo and Mawenzi peaks along the way. Today you will eat early dinner and have a rest as you will need to wake up before midnight to start your summit ascent.
Barafu Camp (4,600m/15,100ft) to Uhuru Peak (5,895m/19,340ft) to Mweka Camp (3,100m/10,170ft) Elevation Gain: 1,295 meters, 4,240 feet Elevation Loss: 2,795 meters, 9,170 feet Hiking time: 6 hours to Crater rim, 1 hour to summit, 3 hours back to Barafu and 4 hours to Mweka(lower camp) Due to the steep ascent at high altitude, this is the most challenging day of the ascent. We will leave Barafu Camp in mid night to begin your hike to the top highest point in Africa(Uhuru Peak). It is important to remember to snack and drink during the ascent to keep your energy up. Your guide will be hiking ahead of you and he/she will be giving all necessary guidelines. Reach at Stella Point before or at sunrise. Continue on to Uhuru Peak, the hiking to the summit is slow, and will take approximately 1 hour from Stella Point. After reaching the summit, you will take photos and descend to Barafu Camp for a rest and brunch. Around 1pm, descend to Mweka Camp to spend your last night on Kilimanjaro.
Mweka Camp (3,100m/10,170ft) to Mweka Gate (1,500m/4,920ft) Elevation Loss: 1,600 meters, 5,250 feet Hiking time: 4 hours After breakfast, finish your Kilimanjaro experience for a descent to Mweka Gate. Your last hike on Kilimanjaro is a beautiful one, passing through Kilimanjaro’s rainforest. Watch your step during the decent as the trail can be slippery. Our vehicles will be waiting at the lower station of Mweka Gate to take you to Moshi town for hot lunch and drive to Arusha for overnight at Kerama Silent Lodge

After breakfast you will start your safari with the packed lunch you will start with magnificent National Park-Tarangire National Park. This is Tanzania's fourth largest park offering diverse wildlife and scenery including giant baobab trees. It is home to the largest herds of elephants in East Africa!. These herds migrate along the wildlife corridor to nearby Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Animal populations here rival those of the Serengeti so you will have a chance to see wildebeests, zebras, elands, hartebeests, buffalos, gerenuks, fringe eared Oryx, and flocks of birds of various species. After breakfast at the hotel, with our packed lunch, we will drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge(about 3 to 4 hours). Olduvai Gorge is an archaeological site located in the Northern plains of Ngorongoro Conservation Area where early human fossils were discovered ( Imagine yourself traveling to the cradle of mankind). After touring the site, we will have lunch and then drive to Serengeti National Park. On the way, you will be able to view
wildlife before reaching the Serengeti Heritage Camp and Lodge in the evening for overnight.

After breakfast, we will venture into Serengeti’s wilderness for full-day game viewing in the park. Enjoy exploring this world heritage site where the world’s largest concentration of animals still roams freely. Overnight in Central Serengeti.

After breakfast, with packed lunch, we will drive Southward towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area with wildlife viewing on the way. We will have our lunch break at Naabi Hill (exit gate in Serengeti) as we register to enter Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, we will stop at one of the Maasai Bomas in Ngorongoro Area to learn, experience, and enjoy Maasai culture.

After early breakfast you will descend to the crater for early morning game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see the black rhino as well as prides of lions that includes the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopards, cheetahs, hyena, other members of the antelope family, small mammals, hippos, and many more.
You will enjoy your lunch at a picnic site in the crater floor and proceed with afternoon game drive.
