About this trip

We are very excited to announce our first ever My1FitLife "Winter" Adventure in Park City, Utah.  Park City lies east of Salt Lake City in the western state of Utah. Framed by the craggy Wasatch Range, it’s bordered by the Deer Valley Resort and the huge Park City Mountain Resort, both known for their ski slopes. Utah Olympic Park, to the north, hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics and is now predominantly a training facility. In town, Main Street is lined with buildings built during a 19th-century silver mining boom.

We will have lots of life-changing activities, experiences, and speakers to make this an unforgettable trip! The activities will include your choice of snow-shoeing or dog-sledding. We are very excited to have Kristine Kobza as our special guest speaker. Kris is a world recording holding Masters Powerlifter.  She started her powerlifting career late in her 40's, and she now holds numerous world records. Kobza will not only be speaking but also leading a group workout.

Come cozy up by the fire and warm your heart with our incredible community. Find your brave doing something new in someplace incredible. We can't wait to see you there!

You can take anyone into the gym and motivate them to live fit for a day, but if you take them into nature, you can inspire them for life! That's the motto of Michelle Steinke-Baumgard and Keith Baumgard from My1FitLife. Six years ago, Michelle and Keith joined together and started what has become much more than just a fitness company; they have created a tribe, a community and a feeling that inspires you long after you leave their retreats. Michelle and Keith take fitness up a notch and remind you that living fit is not about making your body smaller, but instead, fitness is about making your life BIGGER!!! When you come for a retreat with My1FitLife you will accomplish big things; you will learn to be brave, to explore, to stretch your boundaries and to live your life to the fullest.

It was a great adventure! I loved the community of people, very supportive and the activities were a good combination of ones that stretched me and ones that were simply fun. The scenery was gorgeous! I have 2 negatives: I arrived a bit late on Thursday evening and there was nobody around and no instructions about anything. It also turned out that dimmer wasn’t included and as I had no transportation, I had no way to get any food. It felt like a very forlorn way to start the weekend. I have no trouble with very basic accommodations and food normally, but considering the cost of the weekend, the caliber of both was disappointing.
This was great trip. I really enjoyed the summer camp feel. I know some people did not! Everyone at Blue Ridge Assembly was delightful. The old gym reminded me of my youth. Okay...I am old too. Truly grateful to experience a bit of a simpler by-gone era with genuinely kind and positive folks.
It was my first weekend and it was okay. I really enjoyed talking with the other women and getting out hiking. Overall it was good however, the accommodations were not that great for what we paid. Some of the events seemed a bit unorganized and there seems to be more people signed up then some of the events allowed. Possibly limit registration in the future.
I love to travel. But traveling with this group is filled with adventure and so much fun. Keith and Michelle genuinely care and love what they do. And they do it well.
The high altitude training weekend was very successful. The hikes we did were great examples of terrain training. Although I live in an area where I can get some good elevation changes these hikes showed me where my fitness level was and what I needed to do to get some improvements. The hotel was wonderful, with the full kitchens I would recommend the trainees working together to make lunches etc that fit the nutritional needs for the day. Having dinners together was nice so we can socialize etc. Thanks for such a great time! Deb
