This itinerary is designed for travelers who may have visited Naples previously and want to experience new things AND ALSO for the travelers who have never been to Naples and want a shorter tour experience!

Naples is a multi-faceted city that is worth returning to time and time again. This tour gives you the opportunity to "dig deeper" and is designed to take you even farther off the beaten path to discover rich culture, history and unbelievable delicious food!

On this journey we stay for 6 nights in the historic center of Naples giving you time to settle into the neighborhood of Piazza Bellini, which is nestled in the historic center. You are in the middle of everything!

Together with my team of Neapolitan collaborators we have created an itinerary that we love and know you will love it too!

Welcome to Napoli! We ask that you arrive around 12:00pm we are off and running! After checking in and  settling in, we will meet in the lobby of our hotel at 2:00 pm and head out for a brief walking tour of historic center followed by a Meet & Greet and Lunch together. 

Today is a walking tour with a focus on the Neapolitan coffee tradition and the fabulous street art that adorns the city. We will have stops along the way tasting delicious coffee and learning about each coffee house that we visit.

Today we will travel up to the Vomero neighborhood for a private cooking class and a traditional family lunch.

First we meet our chefs at the outdoor market in Pignasecca to pick our ingredients followed by taking the funicular up the hill to the Vomero neighborhood with its sweeping views of the Bay of Naples.

We meet our hosts and jump right into the kitchen learning to make seasonal local dishes followed by a traditional style family lunch with the delicious things we made in our class plus local wine, fresh mozzarella di bufala and incredible desserts. 

Today is an action-packed and delicious adventure as we head out of the city and to the area of Caserta! 

We begin the day with a visit to the farm of an artisan cheesemaker where we learn about the famous Mozzarella di Bufala.

We will then have a guided tour of the historically epic but lesser known Capua Amphitheater, which is the 2nd largest to the Colosseum in Rome. 

Onward very special culinary experience at the pizzeria of Betsy's very dear friend, Mario Cecere at his Pizzeria Cecere.

Mario has curated a culinary journey that will show the bounty that the region of Compania has to offer. Mario is a master pizzaiolo and you will not only some of most delicious pizza ever you will learn about it and have a deeper appreciation of it.

Today our private driver will pick us up for another off the beaten path experience!

Today we will take the ferry to go to the island of Procida! This is the smaller island sitting close to Ischia but perfect for a day trip including a delicious lunch by the sea! You will have time to roam on your own and take in the sights and smells of the sea!

When we return to the mainland we will take you on a panoramic drive of the land of myths and legends, the Campi Flegrei.

Today we will visit the lesser visited but equally fabulous archeological sites of Oplontis and Stabiae with a guided tour by our fabulous Federica Rubino.

We will then bring you to a locals only Agritourismo where you will learn about the farm, the products they grow and the Neapolitan dishes that they prepare.

You will have the rest of the day, when we return to Naples to yourself to explore the city, enjoy the sunset along the lungomare and don't forget a gelato!

After breakfast you can take your time checking out. You can enjoy the day here in Naples or the rest of your trip or back to the airport.
