We begin the day with a guided visit to the awe-inspiring archaeological site of Pompeii, led by our private local expert.

In the afternoon, we head to a family-owned winery nestled on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius for a tour of the estate, a tasting of their exceptional wines, and a classic Italian long lunch—relaxed, delicious, and unforgettable.

Today we dive into the culinary traditions of Napoli  with a hands-on cooking class and family lunch. This very special experience is in the family home of our very dear friends.  First we shop in the local Pignasecca market to select fresh ingredients for our class then take the funicular up to a picturesque villa in the hills of Naples to the Vomero neighborhood.

We will spend the afternoon cooking and eating and sharing this amazing experience together!

Venture just 15 minutes outside Naples to the captivating Campi Flegrei—a lesser-known region that’s a must-see in our book.

With our private driver, we’ll explore this ancient, storied landscape, pausing for panoramic views and unforgettable stops along the way. Highlights could include the remarkable Temple of Serapis, the historic heart of Pozzuoli, the archaeological park of Baia, and stunning vistas over Lago d’Averno and Bacoli.

We’ll end the day unwinding at a natural thermal spa. Yes… it’s just as heavenly as it sounds.

Say goodbye to Naples as we journey to the charming seaside port of Salerno, where we’ll spend the next three days. Along the way, we’ll stop in the historic village of Cava de’ Tirreni—once a beloved retreat for Roman nobles—for a special visit to a local ceramic artist’s studio and a privately guided tour of the town.

We continue to Salerno and settle into our hotel before enjoying a relaxed stroll along the waterfront promenade.

Experience the magic of the Amalfi Coast by land and sea! Today, we journey to the stunning Villa Rufolo in Ravello, where panoramic views take your breath away. Then, we wind our way through the charming coastal villages such as Maiori, Cetara, and Vietri sul Mare—each with its own unique beauty and seaside allure.

Stroll through the winding streets of the historic center, where artisan studios, charming cafés, and boutique shops invite you to explore. Sip an Aperol Spritz, soak in the atmosphere, and savor a taste of la dolce vita.

In the evening, we’ll gather for a memorable final dinner at a Slow Food trattoria nestled in the heart of the old town.

After breakfast, our journey together comes to an end.
