Catalina was our tour guide, and one can tell she loved her country and knew the history. She showed us Cotopaxi and Quilotoa, and told us about the local culture. Her wealth of knowledge and organizational skills were excellent. Our car driver was an added bonus as we traveled thru the countryside. The climbs were steep, and she kept us all safe. Catalina was concern that we did not get altitude sickness and even stopped at a local grocery store so we could get some tea. My husband and I strongly recommend this tour and guide and driver. What a great day!

We had a wonderful trip overall. The wildlife was truly incredible and the other guests on board were like-minded and it was great to share it with them. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate. However, he had poor people skills overall, especially when it came to repeatedly mentioning the amount we were expected to tip (!) and also when it came to keeping the group together so that we could stay on schedule. This led to us missing out on snorkeling duration a couple of times. The crew kept us safe throughout and were fairly friendly. Unfortunately our dietary requirements were not planned for, despite me confirming twice with the agent that we booked with. As such, there was no vegetarian option on the last two days. Overall, although there are ways they could improve, we would recommend the Aida Maria for the wildlife experiences for a good price.

The booking process was very good with Carlos. He was a calming presence, knowledgeable and very helpful. Thank you! Tony’s assistance guiding us through the process at the airport for boarding and obtaining the TCT code for Galapagos was invaluable. The online application was down and could not be done ahead of time. Thank you Tony! The minute we met Charles our Naturalist we knew we were in good hands. He was fun, knowledgeable, safety conscious and a pleasure to spend time with. The entire staff on Tip Too 2 were so helpful, capable and kind. Every staff member deserves to be respected for their part in making all the incredible adventures happen. The boat was spotless with copious amounts of tasty food. Chocolates on the pillow every night! I happened to have my birthday while on board and the entire staff contributed to making me feel celebrated. From navigation to room cleaning… very well done! Thank you All!
