Nature Therapy and Adventure Retreat in Nicaragua is a 7-day, 6-night nature and adventure retreat in Nicaragua for anyone ready to reconnect with themselves and the natural world through the mind, body, and spirit.
Set on the wild Pacific coast and guided by a naturalist, this week trades screens and schedules for adventurous activities aimed at learning, growing, and giving back to the planet. Hike through a wildlife conservancy near an inactive volcano, learn about regenerative agriculture and take a local cooking class, and release sea turtle hatchlings into the ocean.
These and more experiences will remind you that we are a part of nature. Come as you are, leave rejuvenated and refreshed.
Maggie Dewane is an author, filmmaker, and former journalist who has traveled to all seven continents to understand climate change and conservation efforts and how both impact people.
Through short films, news articles, and poetry, she translates climate science to audiences to empower them to act.
She leads an annual weeklong educational seabird conservation and nature camp for adults in Maine through the Audubon Society.
