The Pure Presence Yoga retreat at Still Salty Escape was everything I hoped it would be and more! Val has an in-depth knowledge of yoga and I learned so much during our time together. The setting was peaceful and the staff was amazing in every way.

Such an awesome experience! Came for a surf retreat and within 6 days improved so much! Francisco and Rapha are amazing coaches and worked with us every day to improve our surfing skills.
The resort is about a 4 hour drive from the Managua airport so it’s a bit of a trek, but it’s worth it for the uncrowded beaches. Airport transfer was arranged which I appreciated as a solo female traveler, so I felt very safe and comfortable the whole time!
After 6 days of long surfing sessions I got a massage and it was well worth it, I would highly recommend.

This was such an amazing experience! Nique is a fantastic coach and makes sure everyone is learning at their level, improving at their own speed, and so encouraging. I got to surf with a really fun group from all different backgrounds, eat amazing vegan food (and I'm not vegan or vegetarian) and really reset myself. I highly recommend a surf camp with Nique! The Still Salty Escape location is absolutely beautiful and close to some easy surf areas. One thing to note, they don't have A/C so if it's something you need, you won't find it there. The rooms are beautiful, simple and bed are comfy. The grounds are beautiful and perfect for yoga and relaxing by the pool.

I thought Nique created such a beautiful vibe of different people and we all got along just fine! The surfing lessons were legendary and salty still had a great atmosphere to do this all in.
My only feedback is I think salty still need to have more options on their menu because most of our group was starving after intense surfing lessons. Thank God we found a local restaurant that delivered food to us!
