They ship(Klein tours) mandated we use them for air travel to the islands from the main land. If we did not they would charge $180($90 pp) to book our own. Even with the fee we could get a cheaper flight on our own, however, we wanted to comply to make it easy for them and booked through the Klein. They would not tell us our flights until a few weeks before hand. Finally, we received a confirmation code. I called the airline with the confirmation code I was given, the airline said we were not on the plane and had no record of us. I told the travel agency and they said its fine don't worry about that the Ship had it handled. The airline said we weren't on the plane and the agency said just don't worry about it. Think about that! We were able to get on our flights however, with alot more stress then is needed. Coral needs to communicate.

This review is for Klein Tours and especially Coral 1. The communication process of booking and planning this trip was horrible. It is so hard to get answers to basic questions. We wanted to arrive a day before our ship left and it was like the end of the world, we were made to sign a document that says we forfeit all activities we missed. This took weeks to request, where they would not tell us a time or place until a week or so before the trip. Then the day before we meet up, we were told by our hotel, the boat had a different time and directions on how and where to meet. The itinerary they advertised was different then what we received where we missed destinations and activities. Was supposed to do 4 activities(hikes/snorkels)a day we got 3. We were told we would visit Kicker rock, the brochure in the ship on the table in the main lounge showed us going to Kicker Rock. The final day the guides told us, no we never go to Kicker rock, cruise boats can’t go there. More misleading information. Our room had holes in the roof, no AC, no water pressure. The wetsuits that we were forced to purchase had rips in them, they didn't have enough and didn't have the right sizes. The don’t clean the equipment. They don't help you with luggage, they don't accommodate passenger request. No consideration for guest with noise from the crew. We had to search the ship to find a bartender to get a drink on numerous occasions. My wife is a vegetarian and they would bring her meal out(the few time she got one) after everyone was done eating. Think about that! When we were in town everyone was told to meet at the bus to return to the ship at a certain time. Everyone was on time. The guide said we were missing 2 people. Everyone agreed everyone was there. The guide said we have to wait. A family then said to the guide, “our daughter and son n law, did not come and cancelled one day before the trip.” The guide said oh we are waiting for someone else, we just talked to corporate. 30 minutes later after waiting on the bus, the guide comes back and ask the family the names of the guest who did not come. Then the guide says oh we can go, corporate made a mistake, that’s who we were waiting on. The communication and poor execution was never ending. I can go on with examples of poor management, poor customer service, bad communication. But I will say, the Galapagos as a whole is beautiful and amazing. The guest we meet on the boat were great. The guide we had was really knowledgeable and nice. But I have no idea how Klein tours and these 3 boats are staying in business with the frustration they cause. Frustration that can easily be eliminated with simple communication. It was almost like they purposely did not tell us things so they could take shortcuts and save money.

As I was diving with other boat, I can say that Calipso is amazing. the cabin is so nice, big, with an amazing view, tv, wifi... Decks are also really nice with 4 hot showers ! The staff was fantastic. We can see that they love their job and they tried everytime to do something nice for us. Daniel And Sebastian our dive guides were so great, trying to do their best everyday, funy and carying. We were eating all the Time, after each dive also... We had a barbecue on the sun deck, so great! All the surprises and gifts were very appreciated. Concerning diving, it’s the best place i have ever dove.

We loved our time cruising around the Galapagos on the Nemo III ship! Great service, wonderful staff, good company, delicious food, and of course, the sightseeing with so many different animals!

We were on a Holiday with 8 friends in Ecuador for two weeks. We booked a bus with driver for 8 days to bring us from Quito to Montañita. This was really amazing! Our driver Marco was the best driver in the world, he told us a lot about Ecuador, always dropped us off safely and he was very friendly. It was an amazing experience for all of us. Thank you so much, I would highly recommend everyone in Ecuador to contact you because it was an amazing service.
