This Church History Tour will provide students to experience the best of New York. This 5 day/4 night tour provides a unique opportunity for students to experience Niagra Falls and to see the church history sights in Palmyra, New York. The tour will end in New York City where students will enjoy the iconic sights, sounds, and food the city has to offer, including a broadway show!

Students will enjoy the sights of Niagra Falls including an experience in the Hornblower Niagara Cruise! The group will stay over night near Niagara Falls.
Students will travel to Palmyra (2 hours) to see crucial church history sights including:
-Smith Family Farm
-The Sacred Grove
-Grandin Press where the first Book of Mormon was printed
-Martin Harris Farm
-Hill Cumorah where Joseph Smith retrieved the Golden Plates
-Palmyra Temple grounds
After a day of sight seeing, the group will check into the hotel located in Palmyra.
As we begin our journey to New York City, there are crucial church history sites to see along the way. We will begin the drive to Fayette, NY and visit the Peter Whitmer Farm where the church was officially organized. It was also here that the Three Witnesses saw the angel and plates. After the Whitmer Farm we will travel to Colesville, NY where the group will visit The Knight Home and Visitor Center. Our next stop will be to travel to the Susquehanna River where Priesthood was restored and Joseph and Oliver were baptized. This site features a new LDS Visitor's Center as well as Joseph and Emma Smith's home.
After the visitor center, the group will continue to make their way to New York City and check into their hotel. After a few hours of free time/relaxation, the group will head to a Broadway Show!
Students will have the opportunity to attend the Manhattan First Ward Sacrement Meeting held at the LDS Temple. The group will then take a subway to the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. This museum tell the story of 9/11 through interactive technology, archives, narratives and a collection of artifacts. After free time at the museum, students will get to experience the city sky high at the top of the One World Observation deck. This is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. Students can look toward the horizon and feel the City's Invincible Spirit. After the Observation Deck, the group will have free time at Central Park and Rockefeller Center. *Possible Broadway Show Upgrade
Students will begin the day walking the Brooklyn Bridge and then board the Statue Cruises to see Lady Liberty herself! After spending free time around the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, the group will take a subway to Chinatown and have lunch in Little Italy. The group will have some free time to shop and pick up last minute souvenirs in Chinatown!
After free time in Chinatown, the group will travel to the JFK airport to board their non-stop flight to SLC. Group will arrive in SLC at 11 pm.
