Our trips are affordable because of group rates we are able to guarantee through contracts and commitments, as well as pre-paying trip fees and lodging. Therefore, our trips are non-refundable. You may transfer your trip with approval. As noted, travel insurance is mandatory for this trip. Please note allotted reasons for cancellation as well as the force majeure of the policy you choose with your travel insurance company.

Our trips are high energy. You should be able to walk 10,000 plus steps a day on uneven terrain and be able to easily get in and out of boats. There is a moderate hike in Granada and if you choose to do volcano boarding, that requires an hour long, moderate hike as well.

Seen by many as the intellectual center of Nicaragua, León offers energy and beauty in equal measure. A picturesque colonial town dating back to the 1600's, colorful León has a personality all its own. Check into our beautiful historic hotel and enjoy time to wander before we gather for a special welcome dinner with new friends.

There is only one place in the whole world you can volcano board-it’ s here! If you choose this adventure, you will hike up an active volcano and have the once in a lifetime thrill of boarding down it!
Or, explore the mangroves of the Juan Venado Nature Reserve on a small motorboat keeping your eyes out for an abundance of wildlife. In the late afternoon we will come together for a walking tour of this fascinating city.
We will end the day walking barefoot on the roof of largest cathedral in Central America.

After breakfast we will make our way to the coast and the truly remarkable, 5-star Morgan’s Rock Eco Resort. This completely sustainable hotel is set on 4,000 acres lined by a crescent-shaped beach and an estuary leading into a tropical forest. Check into your beach bungalow, enjoy your private terrace with views, have lunch at the pool, or walk the hanging bridges.
After a beautiful dinner at the open-air restaurant, we will set off for an adventure-A night time jungle walk! The forest is a different world at night when the nocturnal animals wake up. With guides and a flashlight, you can be part of this magnificent nocturnal universe.
Travel time León to Morgan's Rock is approx 4 hours.

Start your day off with a morning you won’t soon forget-Breakfast on the farm! We will take open air vehicles to their organic working dairy farm. Here we will milk cows, gather eggs, visit the animals and make fresh tortillas.
Come back to enjoy the resort - walk on the beach, read at the pool, or explore the jungle. The choice is yours.

Breakfast at leisure to start the day and then enjoy a relaxing morning enjoying coffee from your terrace or on the beach. Soak up the last hours at this little slice of paradise!
We will depart in the afternoon to make our way to Granada. Granada, established in the 1500's is one of the oldest and most enchanting cities in Latin America. Check into our beautiful hotel, steps from the Parque Central. Have a drink on the busy pedestrian thoroughfare and have your camera ready to capture the pops of color everywhere you look!
Travel time Morgan's Rock to Grenada is approx 2 - 2.5 hours.

Rise and shine for an early morning! We will drive to the dock for a ferry across massive Lake Nicaragua to the idyllic shores of Ometepe Island. Here we will meet with an inspiring woman at a local women’s cooperative and try her homemade hibiscus wine.
After a beautiful lakeside lunch, we will have an incredible opportunity to give back to the local community. After making the long way back to Granada, a free night will be the perfect way to end this magical day.
Travel time Grenada to port is approx 2 hours and ferry ride is approx 1 hour and vice versa on return to Grenada.

After breakfast we will head to the Mombacho Volcano where we will ride in specially converted, open-top trucks to the heart of the cloud forest. An hour-long hike with spectacular views of Granada and Lake Nicaragua await.
In the afternoon we will take a boat ride to a private island for a beautiful and relaxing lunch on the lake.
Farewell dinner with the group in Granada to end the day.
