Reviews

This was an excellent tour. The culture part was very informative. We got a lot out of the hours we spent cooking, working, talking and eating with Garifuna and Mayan families. And the dancing and drumming…. The birding portion was excellent also, and from a birder’s perspective, of the 200 species we saw there were 25 new birds for me even though I have traveled a lot through Costa Rica. I thought Belize would be similar to Costa Rica, but no, these are very different countries. The guides and leader were expert and prepared. It was a joy to go on this trip.

This was an amazing and spectacular tour! David organizes everything, chooses the best birding guides and drivers, and finds cultural activities that highlight the best of Belizean culture, food and people. We had such a great time and can't wait to return to Belize!

What a great trip in Belize to see not only birds (over 190 species) but Mayan ruins, chocolate history and from and a cooking class! The itinerary was perfect, we had some walking and free time as well. David made sure that we got a good variety of excellent Belizian food. I highly recommend this trip and look forward to more trips with IndiGo Birding!

Fantastic Trip! The mix of interesting cultural experiences and extraordinary birding was just right. The knowledge and skills of the bird guides were outstanding. Verity and quality of the accommodations and food were other highlights.
