The performer was great - good imitation of Cher and she had good rapport with the audience. Food was good and the bus ride was comfortable.

This trip was not as advertised. Everything except the hotel was changed.. The Cog Railroad did not go to the top as advertised since it stopped doing that after Columbus Day, something that a travel agent should know. We were not notified that changes had to be made until one week before departure when it was too late to cancel. Had I known what the actual itinerary would be, I would not have booked this. I would hesitate to use this travel agency again. On a positive note, the hotel was great and all the meals were very good. I met some nice people and liked most of the substituted activities, but I am still disappointed.

We had a wonderful time!! The food was delicious! Enjoyed Canterbury Shaker Village very much, we had a super tour guide. Wish we had more time there. Lunch at the Woodstock Inn was superb. Get the open faced meatloaf sandwich, it was to die for. Really enjoyed the Hobo Railroad, it would have been even better if it wasn't overcast and rainy. The Common Man Inn was the best!!!!! They really pull out all the stops to make your stay enjoyable. Food was awesome, staff was friendly and helpful, and CC the hotel cat was really sweet. Everyone raved about the hotel! I didn't really care about going to the outlet mall on day 2, I can do that at home. Maybe shopping in a quaint downtown would have been better. The Cog Railroad was excellent, again despite the weather. Day 3 was also excellent even though we had 2 wine tastings in a day. Both were fantastic and came from different types of wineries. I would go again, especially to the Inn!! The tour guide was great, as was the bus driver! Great crowd to travel with also. We'll definitely be traveling with them again!!

Bus ride was longer than expected. We were the first stop of 3. By the time we left for Maine we had already been on the bus for 3 hours. Total trip was 6 1/2 hrs long. Did not know there were this many stops beforehand. Probably would not have gone on this trip had we known. Accommodations were very nice. Attending the Fryeburg Fair was a once and done event for us. If you are looking for lots of carnival style food, rides and farm animals then it is probably for you. After an hour and a half we were ready to leave. The Maine Mineral and Gem Museum in Bethel was fantastic. Very inter-active and lots to see. Well worth the time. There was an issue with the Brewery for lunch. It seems they were not expecting 44 of us to show up as there was no chef. Not sure who was responsible for this snafu (the trip sponsor, tour guide or the brewery), but it should not have happened. While most of the bus decided to wait it out, our friends' group opted to go back to the hotel and snack on the food we had brought with us. As we were heading to Sunday River for the morning's events, our tour director told us about the wife carrying event that was "going on all day". Well, it didn't and ended well before noon. Some on the bus missed the whole thing because of the misinformation by the tour director. He also told us there were "many food trucks"; there was only 1! If you are going with the great expectation of seeing a moose on the moose tour, I suggest lowering your expectations. We didn't see any wildlife much less a moose. But then we were traveling on a bus at 50 miles per hour; not ideal conditions. Have been a moose tour before and the van travels "slowly" alongside the road with a spotlight on. We saw moose on that trip. Our biggest complaint on this tour was the way the tour director handled himself. Too self-absorbed, gave wrong information and did not do his job. While we would consider doing another trip with this company, I would want to be certain the tour director was not this same person.
