About your trip

The Emilies traveled to Morocco in 2024 and knew they had to come back to see more. This time we'll explore the north: Casablanca, Fes, the Roman ruins of Volubilis, and of course, Marrakech.

Day 1 (May 31, 2026)

Casablanca

Arrive at your leisure, and enjoy a free day until our welcome dinner at 6pm. Feel free to check out the Jewish Museum, the Villa des Arts Gallery & Museum, or the Hassan II Mosque, or enjoy exploring the medinas on your own!

Day 2 (June 1, 2026)

Tangier/Chefchaouen

Take the TGV fast train to Tangier. Spend the early morning walking on a guided tour of the city and head to Café Hafa for tea and its impeccable scenery over Gibraltar. Then, head to Chefchaouen for the evening. After an orientation tour and a sunset viewpoint, the night is yours.

Day 3 (June 2, 2026)

Chefchaouen

This morning, we will have a morning walking tour with a local guide. Then, opt for a picnic lunch and a hike or a hammam! The night is yours to explore the city.

Day 4 (June 3, 2026)

Moulay Idriss

After breakfast, we will head to Moulay Idriss. We will take a guided tour of the sacred village, and have some free time before heading to a local guesthouse, where we will enjoy a feast and talk with the locals about their culture.

Day 5 (June 4, 2026)

Volubilis/Meknes/Fes

Today we will head to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Volubilis, a Roman ruin. Then, head to Meknes to enjoy lunch and some free time. Afterwards, we will head to the medieval city of Fes.

Day 6 (June 5, 2026)

Fes

Today includes a walking tour of the Old City that includes a tour of the medina, the Medresse el Attarine, the Funduq al-Najjarin, a famous tannery, and a ceramics factory where you can see potters working. Lunch and the afternoon are on your own to continue to peruse shops and shop throughout the medina.

Day 7 (June 5, 2026)

Marrakech

We will make our way from Fes to Marrakech via local train. In Marrakech, we will take a walking tour of the medina and have a coffee tour. Our day will end with a group Farewell Dinner.

Day 8 (June 7, 2026)

Departure from Marrakech (or Casablanca*)

All good things must come to an end! You are free to stay another night or leave Morocco. If you are staying in Marrakech, we will have optional activities for you to spend your afternoon, including a Luxury Spa Hammam & Massage, a Medina, Palaces & Tombs Urban Adventure, or a Hot Air Balloon Ride. Or, perhaps you want to check out the Palais Bahia or Marjorelle Gardens. The day is yours!

*If you'd prefer to fly out of Casablanca, we can arrange a transfer (3 hour drive.)
