After a relaxing morning at the hotel, we will be treated to a presentation about the theater and today's performance by Festival staff.  We then enjoy a group lunch nearby followed by a matinee performance of the classic play, MacBeth.  Dinner on your own tonight at your choice of the many great restaurants nearby.

 Our journey today features an optional tour to Southern Oregon highlights and attractions, such as Ashland’s lovely Lithia Park, the Harry M. David Country Village and Store and in nearby Medford and the historic town of Jacksonville. Also included will be a visit to the famous blue cheese at Rogue Creamery, and an adjacent artisan chocolate store.  After time to rest in the afternoon, we head out to an evening performance and dinner at the Oregon Cabaret Theater, and the fun show, Little Shop of Horrors, sure to delight with its comedic storyline and upbeat musical score.  

We depart Ashland today and head out on a scenic drive through the Rogue River Forest as we make our way to Northern California’s fantastic Redwood Coast. We stop at one of the Redwood National Park Visitors Centers near Crescent City before arriving in Eureka in time to check in at our hotel in the afternoon and enjoy dinner nearby. 

Our day will take us to some of the North Coast redwood parklands’ most beautiful highlights, including the Victorian town of Ferndale.  We then head back to Eureka for an excursion to the Eureka Zoo and its spectacular “Redwood Skywalk” – an easily accessed elevated walking experience 100 feet above ground level that offers visitors a unique immersive experience among the area’s majestic redwood trees.

Today we make our way South on Hwy. 101 through more of the Redwood Country scenery. We stop at the gorgeous Humboldt County Botanical Gardens and a friendly Mendocino County winery for an enjoyable taste of some of the area’s well-known highly-rated wines before continuing on our way for an afternoon return home.
