On this tour, we will travel from Northern California via motorcoach to Ashland Oregon, where we will be treated to a memorable performance at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival of Shakespeare's enduring tragedy, the classic MacBeth!  Our experience will include a behind the scenes presentation about the production from the OSF staff.  

Our Ashland accommodations will be at the beautiful and newly renovated historic Ashland Springs Hotel, located just steps from the Festival grounds.  Also included will be a dinner theater performance of the fun musical comedy, Little Shop of Horrors at the Oregon Cabaret Theater.

We will visit some of Southern Oregon's beautiful scenery, including a journey to the nearby quaint town of Jacksonville, near Medford, and a visit to the iconic Harry and David Gift Shop.

After Ashland, our tour will continue to the beautiful Northern California Redwood Empire, as we enjoy a scenic coastal drive from Crescent City to Eureka, and then 2 nights in Eureka at the charming Best Western Humboldt Bay Inn.  Our siteseeing in Eureka and the nearby area will feature charming town of Ferndale, known for some of the best Victorian Architecture along the North Coast.  We will also visit the Humboldt Botanical Garden, the Redwoods National and State Parks, and the area's newest signature attraction, the amazing Redwood Skywalk at the Sequoia Park Zoo!  This unique adventure allows visitors to experience the majesty of the redwoods from an entirely new vantage point, as they meander along a series of bridges and platforms 100 feet above the forest  ground.  Entirely ADA accessible, it is easily reached via a gentle ramp with guiderails.  But don't worry if the skywalk isn't for you, as the entire attraction sits above one of the oldest and smallest zoos in California, where hundreds of animals representing about 54 different species can be found on a 7 acre environmentally sensitive site.  Easily explored in a short visit, this experience will be one to remember for everyon on our trip!

Our adventures continue through the redwoods to Mendocino County and a short stop at a local winery where we can enjoy some of the delicous wines of the region, before returning home.

Our tour features a performance of Oregon Shakespeare Festival's MacBeth, still one of the Bard's most revered works.

We also will enjoy a dinner theater performand of the musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors at the fun Oregon Cabaret Theater, known for its initimate atmosphere along with delightful dining offerings!

We will once again be enjoying the warm hospitality and elegance of the historic Ashland Springs Hotel.  This landmark hotel has recently been renovated and offers beautiful and comfortable rooms that will provide an ideal home base for our tour's first few days.

As on all of our tours, careful planning will go into the meals and restaurants for our group as we explore some of the area's best dining.  And on this particular trip, a few special treats await, including the iconic Harry and David main store in Medford, as well as famous Rogue Creamery offering award-winning cheese and a neighboring gourmet chocolate store for even more tempting morsels!
