Two perfect days. Fantastic La Rioja experiences. Wonderful guide & host. Worth a 6/5 rating. My wife & I are wine lovers and enjoy visiting wineries and vineyards in different regions. This was our first visit to La Rioja, we put it in the hands of Rioja Like A Native Wine Tours, and we could not have made a better decision. Starting with their informative website, followed by excellent pre-trip communication with Rebeca, the Founder of the business (who was so helpful with my many questions!), and then when we finally arrived at the Logroño train station and were met by delightful Fito, who would be our Guide for the next two days – our time in La Rioja with these friendly, kind, caring, knowledgeable, organized and professional people – good people – was excellent! We spent two days experiencing Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa “Like A Native” with these fine folks, mostly with Fito, who was great! We had fun, visited diverse wineries, learned a lot, tasted great wines, ate delicious food, saw historical and beautiful sites, and met very nice people. My wife and I felt like we were with friends & family. There is much more that I could write about our wonderful time and experiences with the good people at Rioja Like A Native Wine Tours. Suffice it to say that they deliver what they promise. If you look at their website, what you see is what you get – and it’s great!

Our tour with Rioja Like a Native was the highlight of our entire trip. If you are on the fence about booking a tour just BOOK IT, you will not be disappointed. From the initial inquiry emails to the tour itself the entire process was seamless. Rebeca took care of everything, including a fabulous traditional Rioja style lunch looking out over vineyards. We also chose to do a private tour the next day where we picked specific wineries we were interested in touring. All the tours were booked for us and we were chauffeured around by the most lovely man, Fito. He was an incredible and knowledgeable guide. We also enjoyed a delicious meal in the 16th century town of LaGuardia. We met other tourists along the way and they mentioned how difficult it was for them to try and arrange their own tours with the various wineries. Booking a tour with Rioja Like a Native is the only way to see this beautiful area in a luxurious and stress-free way. We can't wait to return! A million thanks to Rebeca, Robert and Fito. This was a wonderful wine tour. Rebecca has longstanding relationships with the Bodegas and deep knowledge about the region and industry. The wineries we visited were unique and different from each other providing interesting insights and they also gave thoughtful tours and explanations of their history and process - and then tastings too! Highly recommend.

We had an amazing day with Rebecca touring Rioja. She is a kind, generous, and knowledgeable person who took us under her wing. She was passionate about ensuring that we had a fantastic experience and learned about the history and culture of the region. The first winery she took us to was still producing wine in underground caves, which had existed since about the 15th century. We toured a complex system of underground caves and concrete tanks and learned about how they used to produce wines and how the process evolved over time. We tasted three of their wines paired with charcuterie and cheese. Next, we visited a top-end winery producing stellar wines and saw a different and modern production method. We tasted four remarkable wines in a sophisticated tasting room with charcuterie and cheese. Finally, she and her husband prepared a gourmet lunch for us, which we enjoyed on her terrace overlooking the vineyards. Despite being avid wine travelers who have visited wine regions in Italy, Portugal, France, and the United States, we still learned so much during our day with Rebecca. She also arranged an evening Tapas tour of Longrono with her colleague Fito, who has a wealth of wine information and is a blast to hang out with, and a self-guided bike tour where she hooked us up with a place that rented bikes, planned a route, and made reservations at two wineries for us. Rebecca is your one-stop shop for an amazing experience in Rioja, and you feel like you have a life-long friend and connection after spending a day with her.

What an amazing experience. We visited a variety of wineries, from small family run to larger modern facilities. Others were unique in how they crafted their wine as well as the tasting itself. Would highly recommend booking a tour with Rebeca at we travel. We can’t wait to come back.
