We took this private Ribera del Duero wine tour in late November and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were picked up directly from our hotel in Burgos and spent the day visiting three very different wineries, capped off with a memorable spit-roasted leg of lamb served in an old castle. What stood out most was how thoughtfully the wineries were selected. Each visit was clearly customized to the type of wine experience and purchasing interest I had. The three wineries differed in style, production approach, history, and price point, yet together they gave a well-rounded understanding of Tempranillo and Ribera del Duero as a whole. It felt intentional rather than formulaic. The day ran from about 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and because it was just my wife and me, the pace was relaxed and personal. Our driver and guide, Jaime, truly made the experience exceptional. We’ve done wine tours in Argentina, Uruguay, and other parts of Spain, and this ranked among the best—largely because of him. Jaime clearly loves what he does and is a natural educator. He’s deeply proud of Spain and shared insightful context about Spanish history, culture, and wine throughout the day, which added real depth to the experience. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore beyond the more well-known Rioja region. Ribera del Duero is more rural and feels less traveled, which was part of its charm. This would be especially appealing to serious Ribera del Duero wine fans, honeymooners, or anyone interested in learning more about wine in an immersive, unhurried way. Communication and payment were both easy and straightforward from start to finish. Highly recommended.

What a GREAT all-around experience and highly recommended! Rebecca was so helpful during the planning process, with an emphasis on understanding our interests in a wine tour so that she could tailor the perfect experience. Then our guide Fito perfectly navigated the carefully crafted 2-day itinerary while making us feel right at home in Rioja. Fito's passion and knowledge of wine was so helpful to the dialogue and such a great compliment to all of the tours and tastings. Unfortunately, I did not have a trip as Rebeca canceled at the last moment, and all other private and small group tours were booked and we’re still operating without any concerns,. I visited Rioja only because Rebeca advised me she was able to provide me with the type of winery tours that are most meaningful to me, hidden gems, boutique and small family, wineries. Very disappointing and very unprofessional

Tour was fabulous! Fito was a great guide! The three wineries we visited were very different from one another so we learned sooo much!! Lunch was also fabulous. Highly recommend!!

If you like wine, a specialized experience and fantastic people – this is the company for you. Rebeca organized several wine tours for us as well as a lovely tour of the Basque region (both in Spain and in France). Fito was our guide for the first wine tour. He is incredibly knowledgeable, personable and patient. We visited three different excellent wineries – all three of which provided unique perspectives into wine making. We enjoyed all of the wines (both red and wine) – so much so that we ordered several cases to be shipped back home. Our second day was the most special and memorable. Rebeca’s husband, Robert, was our guide, and he is just a hoot! We visited two more wineries. Again – both with wonderful wines and even more perspectives in different ways to make wine. We enjoyed a wonderful homemade Spanish lunch (along with home-made wine) with Rebeca and Robert, and we could have just chatted and relaxed with them all afternoon. The food, the conversation, and the atmosphere were all welcoming and wonderful. We finished the day by tasting three more wines and receiving a personalized bottle of wine as a parting gift. Finally, Rebeca arranged a site seeing tour for us from San Sebastian. We spent that wonderful day with Daniel. Daniel was knowledgeable, kind, and extremely interesting. He took us to lovely locations and shared his extensive knowledge of the area. Rebeca is extremely professional, responsive, and caring. Thank you Rebeca and Robert for an unforgettable experience.
