An incredible trip to a fantastic place that all the family enjoyed immensely. The Galapagos Archipelago has surpassed all my expectations, and all the family fell in love with one of the places you must visit once in your lifetime… at least. Everything went smoothly, except for the hotel… Name: Hostal España. Terrible service and support by the employees, and the rooms, AC, TV, towels, bed, pillows, etc, are in terrible shape. Cleaning very inefficient. The only good thing was the breakfast... Hotel Not recommended at all. The agency that supported us did a good job, except for that hotel, which in the end they chose, and it is part also of their responsibility to guarantee a good place to stay on a very demanding trip. An excellent place to rest is mandatory. The diving in Seymour North and Daphne was fantastic. Next time I will do a tour only diving. Trip: 5/5 Hotel: 1/5 Tour operator: 4/5 Diving Tour: 5/5

This tour was wonderful.  The captain, crew and Christian the Naturalist were exceptional.  Isla Espanola is gorgeous.  Although the terrain through the habitat of the birds and iguanas was a little difficult, it was an experience not to miss. The only negative note was the boat was on the smaller side.

I was not sure exactly what to expect with this organized tour and was so pleasantly surprised. Honestly, there are many options and I didn't want to spend a ton of money. I have a good friend who went on a cruise for fewer days. She spent a lot more for 4 days than I spent for two people going this route. I think we saw a lot more. I liked the fact that we were grouped with different people every day and we were always busy doing something different. We had a very organized agenda and things went according to plan. Lorena, my contact at Grupo Galápagos was always available and ready to answer questions. There wasn't a day that we didn't enjoy immensely.  When I asked my partner what he liked best, he said, "Everything!" I agree.  I think it's hard to go to the Galápagos and have a bad time, honestly, but I also think it would be very hard to organize such a tour on my own. I think that this was money well spent and we have already asked ourselves when we can do it again.

We had a great time. Highly recommend. This trip was planned in advance and we communicated with Robert who took very good care of us. When we arrived, he had us try on our wetsuits and made sure we had a clear idea of the itinerary and all the plans. Robert was available through WhatsApp helped answer all our questions. He and his team were great!!

El viaje salió bien, la organización fue impecable, la única falla fue el tour a Isabela que no incluye algunos impuestos y costos para llegar a la isla, nada grave pero esperaba no tener que pagar costos extras.

The trip went well, the organization was impeccable, the only flaw was the tour to Isabela which does not include some taxes and costs to reach the island, nothing serious but I would have expected not to have to pay extra costs.

Il viaggio è andato bene, l'organizzazione è stata impeccabile, unica pecca è stato il tour a Isabela che non include alcuni tasse e costi per raggiungere l'isola, nulla di grave ma mi sarei aspettato di non dover pagare costi extra.

5 stars to the Galapagos islands, it is really a Great Place, shame about the way the tour  was organised by the agency, eventually they tried to remedy their errors in the  daily schedule and lack of organisation  but for us it was not enough and too late to re-establish our confidence on them.  If you are looking for a trouble free experience without "surprises" and having to argue about almost everything  from the accommodation to the meals  I do not recommend the agency "Grupo Galapagos."   This is based on our own experience with them and other customers may have had a different and more positive experience. 

We had the most beautiful time on the Galápagos Islands. We saw all animals we wanted to and our experience was unbelievable!! 

The price was absolutely good and much better than other tour offers. 
The contact before and while our trip was simple and in very good English. Our wishes were fully included. 
Our hotel was finde and we enjoyed every daytrip especially snorkeling. 
The small negative aspects was for example our driver. He couldn’t speak english that well so we couldn’t ask him any things. He changed our times more times. And he gave us some wrong information about shoes we needed for a day trip e.g.. moreover we didn’t need a driver for the short rides in puerto ayero. A map with some crosses would be enough.

We would recommend the trip! We will never forget our time on the Galápagos!

Very easy, well planned trip. Great communication and daily updates on each days activity. Vince was knowledgeable and so helpful. We saw everything we had hoped and more. Activities were varied and new each day. We snorkeled daily and had all the equipment we needed and they were all in good working order. Accommodations were good with each morning breakfast was fresh and varied. It was a trip of a lifetime. Highly recommend. Thank you so much.

We loved North Seymour Island.  Our guide and boat captain were excellent.  The other people we were placed with on the tour were terrible.  I realize there is little control over that.....but we were not happy with who we were placed with.

We had a great time snorkeling around Daphne islands. The guide was very friendly. Unfortunately, we told the agency, a week in advance, that one of us couldn't join the trip anymore. They didn't accept to reimburse us (160 usd). They lent us a go pro for free (30usd).

We had an amazing tour guide. He took us kayaking to see the penguins & turtles. Just fabulous!!! The videos we got are amazing. Then he took us snorkeling & we got to see an octopus & stingray. Then we went to eat some local food. Delicious meal & juice.  Finally the turtle reserve & flamingos. Best day trip ever!!!!! A must see.

Tour Galápagos - Vanessa Benenaula Reiban x4

This was a great day! Weather was perfect, which enhanced everything. The boat was comfortable, the food was delicious, the crew was very accommodating, and the guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. And I really appreciated that they provided long wetsuits -- the water is quite cold and that was essential to making the snorkeling enjoyable. Bartolome Island is an amazing place to visit and I definitely recommend making it happen when you are in the Galapagos Islands. The trip is advertised as 8-9 hours, but ended up being a 13 hour day for us. It is a 45 minute drive each way from Puerto Ayora to the harbor on the north side of Santa Cruz, then it took us three hours to motor in the sailboat up to Bartolome (not sure why we weren't sailing, it was quite windy and that would have gone a lot quicker), we spent a couple hours up there, three and a half hours back (headed into the wind this time), 45 mins back to down, and we got back close to 7pm. The snorkels are probably due for replacement. Overall we had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this excursion to others.

GRUPO GALAPAGOS / Bartolome Island Tour x2

Tours in the Galapagos vary a lot with the weather- guides and companies can’t control that. They can control the following where they fell short. 

First, this was advertised as including fishing, but the guide took out one rod, cast a lure in the water for five minutes and gave up. No passengers had any chance to fish at all. Zero. They didn’t even have the rods for fishing. I think we were supposed to watch a guide fish unsuccessfully for five minutes and enjoy it. 

Next, the Galapagos water is cold- you need long wetsuits and decent ones in order to be comfortable and enjoy snorkeling. They only had old, short suits…most of the boat was frozen all day. 

The 360 tour is a good idea but we spent too long at some sites and not long enough at others. The weather turned nice in the afternoon, but we had already finished with the best snorkel site in the morning when it was overcast and cool, which maybe shouldn’t be the first stop if the weather is bad. 

Food was good and guides/crew were nice, but they didn’t offer a lot of information about the sites, flora, and fauna, unless asked directly. And even then the info was anemic and questionable. 

Bring anti-seasickness pills! Our whole boat needed them and fortunately we had extra!

We had a wonderful trip with a great crew. The people on the boat always looked after us and our snorkeling guide (Rudolfo) was very eager to find all the 'important' animals and took plenty of time for the snorkeling tour. We were able to see many sharks, sea lions, a lot of turtles, stingrays and a sea horse. The trip is a must do when you are on Isabela, even if you have already done snorkeling trips on the other islands. Thank you to the crew for having made this day a perfect one!
