Private transfer from the airport to Turrialba (about 2 hours). Here, your guide will give you the Welcome kit and review itinerary with you. He will answer any question that you have.

Early morning pick up at your hotel by a local expert, they will take you into the rain forest looking for some waterfalls to do Canyoning. Canyoning involves rappelling and descending cliffs and waterfalls within the canyon. Our Canyoning site is located in Calle Chirraca, a small, modest, yet lush place near our own Turrialba.
We begin the Canyoning tour with an introduction of our guides and the equipment to help familiarize you with the different uses of the equipment. After the tour, you will have time to change before you enjoy of a delicious lunch. 

After lunch, get back to the van and now you will enjoy of a cultural tour to Guayabo Archaeological Site. Veiled in the shadow of the Turrialba Volcano, like a mythical “lost city” from a storybook, lies to mysterious ancient city that was home to over 10,000 people who seemed to have mysteriously vanished just before the arrival of the Spanish in the 16th century.

At the end of the day, get back to your hotel for a good night of rest.

Very early you will be picked up at the hotel and get a transfer to your next destination. 

This days you will enjoy of nature, the canals and turtles! Barra de Pacuare, the most virgin sector of the Tortuguero canals, in the Caribbean of Costa Rica. It is located directly in front of the Madre de Di-os Lagoon, an extensive and unspoiled natural canal, surrounded by tropical rainforest, and separated from the sea by only a narrow peninsula of virgin and intact tropical jungle, the famous Pacuare Reserve. You will enjoy a boat tour, a visit to the Pacuare beach and small village, and a guided visit to the Sea Turtle conservation projects. The next day, a guided rainforest canal boat tour is also included, during which you can encounter exactly the same fauna and flora as you do in Tortuguero National Park. Other optional activities such as bird watching, fishing and guided hikes can be booked upon prior request or directly at the lodge.

Boat transfer back to the Goshen pier where your private transportation will take you to the South Caribbean where you will spend the next couple of nights. Your local expert will stay with you to explore the area and visit the beaches.

Lodging at South Caribbean 

This would be your last day in Costa Rica, your guide will pick you up at the hotel at the agreed time. Then he will take you to back to San Jose, the drive is for about 4-5 hours. Arrival at San Jose around noon, from here, you can either take your flight back home or take a trip to other destination in a different part of Costa Rica.
