Today, we dive deep into Peru’s iconic seafood culture, where the freshest catches take center stage. Our day begins with an exciting visit to Chorrillos, Lima’s bustling fish port and market, where the morning's haul from local fishermen is proudly displayed. Wander the vibrant market, filled with the rhythmic chatter of sellers and the scent of the ocean, as we gain a firsthand look at Peru’s prized seafood, including the delicacies that make its culinary scene world-renowned.
From there, we head to the artistic neighborhood of Barranco, where the day’s true adventure begins. In an intimate and hands-on ceviche-making class, Chef Bruno will guide you through the intricate steps of preparing this national dish, explaining the cultural significance behind each ingredient and sharing the storied history of Peru's beloved ceviche. You will also have the chance to craft Peru’s signature cocktail—the pisco sour—under the guidance of the master himself.
After the class, enjoy some free time exploring Barranco’s artistic streets, with its vibrant murals, cozy cafes, and bohemian flair, before we head to a local favorite for an authentic Pollo a la Brasa experience. Here, you will have time to unwind, allowing the altitude to settle as you sip on the comforting warmth of traditional Coca Tea, renowned for helping with the acclimatization process.

Today, we venture into the heart of Peru’s cultural and culinary traditions as we make our way to the charming town of Chincheros. Our first stop will immerse us in the artistry of alpaca craftsmanship, where we will witness a hands-on demonstration of how skilled artisans weave colorful textiles from alpaca wool. These finely crafted garments are not just beautiful—they hold centuries of cultural significance, a true testament to the Andean people’s mastery of fiber arts.
Next, we will meet the remarkable Manuel Choqque, also known as the "Potato Whisperer." Manuel is a natural-born culinary expert who has dedicated his life to perfecting the cultivation of over 4,000 varieties of potatoes, a crop that is as much a part of Peru’s soul as it is its diet. At his farm, we will take part in a fascinating workshop where we will explore the rich diversity of Peru's native tubers, and even sample wine made from them—a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes, a short transfer takes us to Machu Picchu, where we will be guided through the ruins by an expert local guide. As we explore this ancient Inca citadel, we will uncover its history, marvel at its architectural genius, and take in panoramic views of the surrounding mountain peaks. The massive, precisely cut stones stand as a testament to the engineering prowess of the Inca, providing panoramic views of Cuzco and a glimpse into the ancient civilization’s architectural genius.
Our next stop takes us into the heart of Peru’s coffee culture at Pisonay Coffee Roasters, a beloved local roastery known for its exceptional, sustainably sourced coffee. With a proud focus on environmental stewardship, fair trade practices, and the rich flavors that Peru is known for, Pisonay has earned its reputation as one of the finest coffee producers in the region. After a guided tour of their roasting process, we will enjoy a tasting session that highlights the complex, nuanced notes of Peruvian coffee.
From there, we head to Museo Inkariy, a remarkable museum dedicated to the rich heritage of pre-Columbian civilizations in the Andean region. Situated beside a pre-Incan stepped pyramid, the restaurant offers a dining experience that seamlessly blends ancient flavors with modern culinary innovation.
