Mabuhay and Welcome to the Philippines! Join us as we explore places from the three major islands of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. You will learn about the Philippine education system, and immerse yourself in the warm, friendly culture of this beautiful island nation and its people as you visit several schools in different settings: urban public schools, urban private schools, rural public schools, rural private schools. Professional Development: You will have the opportunity to visit schools and meet local educators. Please note, when we offer school visits, we are not guaranteeing you will be in your exact grade level. Learning about a new culture and making connections with educators provides an authentic learning experience for you to reflect on and bring back to your classroom.
You will be given a professional development certificate for 20 hours of professional development.
