Please join Boston Red Sox greats, Bill "Spaceman" Lee and Rick Miller, for a week across the magical links of Southwest Ireland from July 21-27, 2019. Visiting iconic clubs like Ballybunion, Old Head, Waterville  and Tralee guests will get a true Irish golf experience both on and off the course. 

William Francis Lee III (born December 28, 1946), nicknamed Spaceman, is an American former Major League Baseball pitcher. He played for the Boston Red Sox 1969–1978 and the Montreal Expos 1979–1982. On November 7, 2008, Lee was inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame, as the team's record-holder for most games pitched by a left-hander (321) and the third-highest win total (94) by a Red Sox southpaw. On August 23, 2012, Lee signed a contract to play with the San Rafael Pacifics of the independent North American League at age 65.

In addition to his baseball experience, Lee is known for his counterculture behavior, his antics both on and off the field, and his use of the Leephus pitch, a personalized variation of the eephus pitch.[1]

Lee has co-written four books: The Wrong Stuff; Have Glove, Will Travel; The Little Red (Sox) Book: A Revisionist Red Sox History; and Baseball Eccentrics: The Most Entertaining, Outrageous, and Unforgettable Characters in the Game. In 2006, the documentary film by Brett Rapkin Spaceman: A Baseball Odyssey featured Lee.

Richard Alan (Rick) Miller (born April 19, 1948) is an American former outfielder in Major League Baseball from 1971 to 1985. Miller attended Grand Rapids Union High School and was a star athlete in the Grand Rapids City League. He spent 12 of his 15 seasons as a member of the Boston Red Sox, he also played with the California Angels. Miller was an accomplished fielder who won a Gold Glove in 1978 for his play in center field.

In 2007, Miller was named as the manager of the Nashua Pride of the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball, a team he managed through the end of the 2008 season. In 2012, he was named the manager of the New Bedford Bay Sox of the New England Collegiate Baseball League.[1]

The group will arrive at Shannon and be met by their chauffeured motorbus and personal driver for the week. Everyone will be transported to the Aghadoe Heights Hotel in Killarney where you will spend the next 4 nights. 

Your first round of golf will be at Tralee Golf Club.  Once golf is finished, the group will be driven back to Aghadoe Heights Hotel and overnight in Killarney.

The second round of the trip will be at the famous Old Head Golf Club.. Once golf is completed, the group will be chauffeured back to the Aghadoe Heights Hotel.

Your 5th round of golf will be a visit to Waterville Golf Links.  Considered one of the finest links in Ireland, Waterville provides a true test of Irish golf.  You will check out of the Aghadoe Heights Hotel prior to golf and after golf head to Trump Doonbeg for 2 nights.
