Please join Boston Red Sox greats, Bill "Spaceman" Lee and Rick Miller, for a week across the magical links of Southwest Ireland from July 21-27, 2019. Visiting iconic clubs like Ballybunion, Old Head, Waterville and Tralee guests will get a true Irish golf experience both on and off the course.

William Francis Lee III (born December 28, 1946), nicknamed Spaceman, is an American former Major League Baseball pitcher. He played for the Boston Red Sox 1969–1978 and the Montreal Expos 1979–1982. On November 7, 2008, Lee was inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame, as the team's record-holder for most games pitched by a left-hander (321) and the third-highest win total (94) by a Red Sox southpaw. On August 23, 2012, Lee signed a contract to play with the San Rafael Pacifics of the independent North American League at age 65.

In addition to his baseball experience, Lee is known for his counterculture behavior, his antics both on and off the field, and his use of the Leephus pitch, a personalized variation of the eephus pitch.[1]

Lee has co-written four books: The Wrong Stuff; Have Glove, Will Travel; The Little Red (Sox) Book: A Revisionist Red Sox History; and Baseball Eccentrics: The Most Entertaining, Outrageous, and Unforgettable Characters in the Game. In 2006, the documentary film by Brett Rapkin Spaceman: A Baseball Odyssey featured Lee.

Richard Alan (Rick) Miller (born April 19, 1948) is an American former outfielder in Major League Baseball from 1971 to 1985. Miller attended Grand Rapids Union High School and was a star athlete in the Grand Rapids City League. He spent 12 of his 15 seasons as a member of the Boston Red Sox, he also played with the California Angels. Miller was an accomplished fielder who won a Gold Glove in 1978 for his play in center field.

In 2007, Miller was named as the manager of the Nashua Pride of the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball, a team he managed through the end of the 2008 season. In 2012, he was named the manager of the New Bedford Bay Sox of the New England Collegiate Baseball League.[1]

The group will arrive at Shannon and be met by their chauffeured motorbus and personal driver for the week. Everyone will be transported to the Aghadoe Heights Hotel in Killarney where you will spend the next 4 nights.

Your first round of golf will be at Tralee Golf Club. Once golf is finished, the group will be driven back to Aghadoe Heights Hotel and overnight in Killarney.

Play Old Head Golf Club
The second round of the trip will be at the famous Old Head Golf Club.. Once golf is completed, the group will be chauffeured back to the Aghadoe Heights Hotel.

Your 5th round of golf will be a visit to Waterville Golf Links. Considered one of the finest links in Ireland, Waterville provides a true test of Irish golf. You will check out of the Aghadoe Heights Hotel prior to golf and after golf head to Trump Doonbeg for 2 nights.

We had a great time. The staff was great, food was great and the service was phenomenal. Would recommend this to others for sure!

Dear wetravel, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share my reflections on the recent trip we booked with your company. There were several highlights that deserve commendation, as well as some aspects that, regrettably, fell short of expectations. Firstly, I would like to extend my appreciation to Neil, our second bus driver, whose expertise and kindness significantly enhanced our journey. Similarly, the hospitality provided by the hotels we stayed at was exemplary and contributed to the overall enjoyment of our trip. I cannot say enough good things about Neil and the staff at the hotels. However, there were areas in the pre-trip and during-trip support that were notably lacking. Communication was insufficient, as I found myself relying on second-hand information from fellow travelers rather than direct updates from your team. An itemized bill was never received, which made it difficult to track expenses and ensure that everything was accounted for. Moreover, some members of our travel group faced difficulties with check-ins and luggage management. Having a designated contact person for assistance would have greatly alleviated these issues. As it was, I often found myself in the position of mediating these challenges, which detracted from my experience. The expectation when booking with a professional travel agency is to have seamless support and guidance. Unfortunately, the lack of assistance we received was a source of disappointment. On a brighter note, the selection of golf courses was excellent, and again, Neil’s role was instrumental in making those experiences memorable. The golf courses were truly special. I believe that constructive feedback is vital for growth and enhancement of services, and I trust that our comments will be received in the spirit of ensuring even greater experiences for your future clients. Just returned from a week-long trip to Scotland. We had a great experience! The courses we played were outstanding and the accommodations were nice. We did three days in the Highlands and four days in St. Andrews. It was a long drive from Inverness to St. Andrews, especially after 36 holes but it was worth it. Our driver was great and he made sure we arrived everywhere on time. We had a couple of extra requests while we were in Scotland and Fairways to Heaven was able to deliver. It was very much appreciated. Can't wait to plan another trip.
