If you're in the city of Puno, this private tour to Inca Uyo – Chucuito is one of the activities you can't miss.

Located in the town of Chucuito, approximately 18 kilometers from the city of Puno, Inca Uyo, known as the Temple of Fertility, is an Inca-era construction. At the entrance, you'll find two rocks carved in the shape of male genitalia, as well as 80 similar ones inside the temple.

Outside, there's a giant stone positioned horizontally. It's said that it served as an observatory to determine the optimal times for agricultural activities, and it was also a place where fertility was worshipped.

The temple dates back to the Inca period. During excavations, various artifacts such as metal, stone, ceramic, and carved bone pieces were found. It's believed that the complex was a ceremonial center where both political and religious rituals were performed.

We begin our tour by picking you up from your hotel (Puno city center).

Then we'll head to the colonial town of Chucuito, a journey of approximately 20 minutes.
