About your trip

 

Punta Tombo Natural Area, the largest continental colony of Magellanic penguins in the world. Magellanic penguins arrive here annually to nest, mate, have their young and shed their plumage, and then return to northeastern South America to feed and return the following year.
We can also get to observe guanacos, piches, maras, rheas and foxes among others.

After the visit to the reserve we begin the return to Puerto Madryn.

Itinerary:

Tombo Point
-We leave Puerto Madryn to the Punta Tombo Natural Area
-We will enter the largest Magellanic penguin reserve in South America.
-Lunch in the reserve (restaurant options)
-Return to Puerto Madryn. End of the excursion.

Área Natural Punta Tombo, la colonia continental de pingüinos de Magallanes más grande del mundo. Los pingüinos de Magallanes llegan aquí anualmente para anidar, aparearse, tener sus crías y mudar su plumaje, para luego regresar al noreste de Sudamérica para alimentarse y regresar al año siguiente.

También podremos llegar a observar guanacos, piches, maras, ñandúes y zorros entre otros.

Luego de la visita a la reserva iniciamos el retorno a Puerto Madryn.

Punto Tombo

-Salimos de Puerto Madryn hacia el Área Natural Punta Tombo

-Ingresaremos a la reserva de pingüinos de Magallanes más grande de Sudamérica.

-Almuerzo en la reserva (opciones de restaurante)

-Regreso a Puerto Madryn. Fin de la excursión.
