After arriving at the camp in the Hola Vida Reserve we have our lunch. Afterwards we will visit a beautiful waterfall, which is about two hours away from the cabins, in which we can swim and enjoy the tranquility of the forest. The stunning setting makes the area a memorable one. On the way back to our camp through the jungle we will have some explanations about the rainforest and its flora and fauna. To conclude the day, we can also visit a local family where we can learn how to make artisanal chocolate.

After this experience we will go back to our camp. If you don’t feel tired, you can go on a night walk with your guide to observe insects and frogs.

Then we will continue our journey and visit a Quichua indigenous community where you can watch how they make necklaces and bracelets. We can also practice the blowpipe and paint our faces with achiote, which is a natural paint.

Unforgettable experience. It was a last minute decision to go paragliding but I’m so glad I did! Imagine Ecuador got me set up with just the right outfitter to take me due to some knee problems I had. Juan made sure I was in good hands. I felt so safe the whole time in the air and enjoyed the views all around. Excellent!!
