Join us for a joyful weekend of yoga, creativity and connection for LGBTQ+ people in the heart of the Black Mountains. Set at the beautifully restored and unapologetically queer Chapel on the Green, this retreat is an invitation to slow down, reconnect and celebrate queer joy surrounded by nature.
Through a thoughtful mix of indoor and outdoor practices, we’ll explore how wild, rural landscapes can create space for queer experience, self-discovery and community. You’ll be lovingly hosted by Gray and Matthew, who will make sure you feel held, nourished and completely at home throughout the weekend.
Gray will guide a rich programme of yoga, breathwork and meditation, while invited guest teachers and artists will offer creative workshops exploring queerness, nature and connection. As the programme evolves with each retreat, you can expect a carefully curated combination of restorative practices, creativity, time outdoors and meaningful opportunities to connect.
Matthew will nourish you throughout the weekend with generous seasonal vegetarian food, which has become one of the highlights of the retreat. There will also be optional wild swimming, quiet moments in nature, relaxed evening gatherings and plenty of space for rest, reflection and exploration. You may even find time to visit nearby Hay-on-Wye, home to the beloved queer bookshop Gay on Wye.
