5:30 am departs our tour from your hotel and travel to Santiago Atitlan by boat. Upon arrival to town we take a land transportation to our birding spot. There will be a cool hike/walk until you reach our birding hot spot. The cloud forest is a fantastic spot for birding where we can see different species of birds such as regional-endemic, residents, and migrant birds included our Guatemala National bird. 

Our main target birds are: Resplendent Quetzal, Azure-rumped Tanager, Emerald-chinned hummingbird among others.

Please note:  We do our best to spot the Quetzal bird with our birders specialists, still there is no 100% guarantee to see it as usually depends on weather condition and other factors. Our possibilities to see it is an 80% - only on the existing dates available in our calendar.
