We had a great time. The place was realy amazing. The lodge was comfortable i nicely located. The food was excelllent. The staff especially guides were professional and helpfull. We spent beautiful time there.

It was a fantastic adventure, despite a lack of communication about a changed departure time which caused me to miss the shuttle and changed my itinerary to 4day/3night. The success of your trip will depend upon the group you are with and your guide. I was extremely fortunate because my group and guide, Victor Hugo, were exceptional! The lodge was extremely rough but the staff was extremely friendly, the food bounteous and delicious. The shuttle ride was horrific but so worth it for the experience. Highly, highly recommended.

I had the most incredible experience at Dolphin Lodge in Cuyabeno, Ecuador! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The lodge itself was comfortable despite bare minimums (note: no electrical outlets in rooms- communal charging stations only) and welcoming, surrounded by the beauty of the Amazon, but the true highlight of my trip was our guide, Miguel. Miguel is an outstanding guide — knowledgeable, passionate, and deeply connected to the environment. He made every excursion meaningful by teaching us about the Amazon’s flora and fauna in such a clear and engaging way. I was amazed at how much I learned about the rainforest, its wildlife, and the delicate balance of the ecosystem. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he always went the extra mile to make sure we spotted animals, understood their behaviors, and appreciated the richness of the Amazon. Whether it was watching pink dolphins, birdwatching, exploring the jungle, or learning about medicinal plants, Miguel turned each moment into something unforgettable. This was more than just a tour — it was an education, an adventure, and a memory I’ll carry forever. Thank you, Dolphin Lodge, and a special thank you to Miguel for making this such a magical experience. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to truly connect with the Amazon.

We had a wonderful experience at the lodge and totally recommend it. Our guide Jorge was excellent at his job, funny and available, and all the staff were helpful and kind. I don't give the best rating since the shuttle part was the opposite experience. Particularly bad was to make us wait when there was no need for it: on the way to the jungle, 2km before arriving at the Cuyabeno Bridge and at the same point on the way back (that is, at the beginning or end of a very long trip). That was a 2 to 3 hour stop that was completely unnecessary. People travelling with the available public transport were able to arrive earlier at their destination.

I missed the shuttle so I did not attend and I was refunded $100 of the total.
