You will be going on a guided tour of Quito and/or surrounding areas with our Come To Galápagos guide and transportation. We have wonderful guides working for us in Quito and they will be in contact with you regarding where you might want to go and what you might want to see. There’s a lot of fun activities that are pretty close to where you’re staying.

Recommendation: Papallacta Hot Springs, a beautiful hot water thermal spa sits just beyond the highest pass in Ecuador that crosses the Andes.

Breakfast: Breakfast at Wyndham Hotel

Accommodation: You will be staying at Wyndham Hotel near the Quito Airport for your early morning flight to San Cristóbal.

Fly to San Cristóbal via your arranged flight (UIO > SCY). Our Quito guide will pick you up at your hotel, shepherd you through the process of getting your entry card, luggage inspected, vaccine checked and check in for your flight. They will have the money for your entry cards and your Galápagos entry fee paid on arrival in the Galápagos. This is so you don’t have to think about it. The team will meet you at the airport here on San Cristóbal with your guide. We’ll get you checked in, have welcome lunch, then head off for the interpretation center and “check out” snorkel.

Your bilingual Galápagos National Park guide will be with you from dawn to dusk the entire time you are in the Galápagos. They have thorough knowledge of the geology, biology, history, current status and gossip of the Galápagos, as well as the experience of living here and knows when and where to be in order to make the most of your time, whether it's iguana watching, sunset viewing, snorkeling or hammock location. These are some of the nicest, most knowledgeable, personable people you have ever met, are sensitive to the fact that this is your vacation and will be as unobtrusive as needed, when needed. Because this is your private tour, there is a lot of inherent flexibility. Also, we’re here to help with anything outside your guides capabilities. 

Accommodation: On San Cristóbal, you will be staying at Galeodan Suites. You will be staying in a two-bedroom suite. The property is located within easy walking distance of several snorkel sites, the interpretation center and all the restaurants in town. 

You will have a chartered boat trip to Isla de Lobos where you will be able to snorkeling with rays, turtles, sharks, and sea lions. You will also be visit the nesting grounds of Frigate Birds, Pelicans, Blue Footed Boobies, and so many other magnificent animals of the Galápagos. You will be roaming gorgeous, deserted, pristine beaches that could make travel posters cry.

You will be going on a boat trip to Española Island to see the albatross colony. Española Island’s biggest wildlife pull is the Galápagos Waved Albatross. Española is the only island where you can find this magnificent sea bird. The colony comes home to Española each year between April and December to nest on the cliffs.

Early morning flight to Isabela Island via twin engine Britten-Norman Islander (approximately 45 minutes). The flight is very scenic and an amazing opportunity few tourists receive to view the Galápagos Islands from the sky. The plane lands in Puerto Villamil, Isabela where you will check into the Drake Inn Galápagos. The Drake Inn is a privately owned, small Inn, by the beach, with breathtaking views of the Isabela Bay of Puerto Villamil and the Galapagos National Park lagoons, with it's endemic vegetation and wildlife. The Inn is situated at the boundaries of the  National Park and offers our guests the tranquility of a nature reserve next to the sea. The town fronts a long sand beach where occasionally flamingos can be seen wading in the surf. You will be going on a private tour of Tintoreas.

Important Note: The plane only allows 25lbs of luggage which includes hand carry. It is recommended to pack lightly as laundry service is available on the islands. Any weight that exceeds 25lbs will be charged $3 per additional pound.

You will start off with a chartered boat trip to Tuneles. This is a really remarkable spot few visitors of the Galápagos get to see - the geologic formations, the wildlife (in and out of the water), and clear waters surrounded by scenic lava formations. It's really one of the greatest hits of the Galápagos. To end the day, you will have Thanksgiving dinner at Hauser’s Restaurant in the highlands of Isabela Island.

You will be flying from Isabela Island to Baltra Island via twin engine Britten-Norman Islander (approximately 35 minutes). Baltra Island is just north of Santa Cruz Island, the tourist capital of the Galápagos. This is where you’ll tour the highlands where wild giant tortoises roam and visit lava tubes.
