Pick-up from your accommodation at 9:00 a.m. to begin exploring the highlights of Old Town Quito, the very first UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. As we stroll through its charming streets uncovering Quito’s hidden gems.
Along the way, admire some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Church of La Compañía de Jesús, famously known as the “Golden Church”, and the San Francisco Square and Monastery.
Next, we’ll continue to La Ronda, one of Quito’s most traditional quarters. This historic pedestrian lane transports visitors back in time. Its narrow colonial houses, with ornate balconies and inner courtyards, reveal the deep Spanish influence in Ecuadorian architecture. During the colonial era, La Ronda marked the edge of the old city. Over the years, painters, poets, musicians, and writers have been drawn to its creative spirit, where architecture, melodies, art, and gastronomy blend into Quito’s distinct cultural essence.
Our final stop will be El Panecillo Hill, crowned by a 30-meter statue of the Virgin of Quito, offering a breathtaking panoramic view of the historic center.
A traditional lunch is included, allowing you to savor the authentic flavors of Quito.
You’ll return to your hotel in the afternoon.
