INCREDIBLE day in Mindo with Santiago! Santiago was extremely kind, personable, and knowledgeable - he could identify hummingbirds in a split second! We saw all different varieties of hummingbirds and tanagers. It was a day we will always remember!

I had a spectacular outing with Santiago. Everything about it was perfect from where we went to his deep knowledge of the area, conservation efforts past and present, the fauna and flora and the passion that he brought to finding as many birds and mammals as possible. Everything was well-organized and the sites we went to were wonderful. He know so much about the area and what to potentially see at each site. The communication about booking the trip was excellent. If/when I go back to Ecuador, I will definitely book with them again and I am even looking into going on trips with them in other countries. Thank you for a wonderful day!!

I had a great experience. Santiago was a super guide. He was well organized and extremely knowledgable and took us to places that gave us a nice variety of bird life with good photographic opportunities. He was extremely accommodating to our needs. The lodge was in a spectacular location and our room comfortable. The food was good. Highly recommend.

I have gone on a couple of trips with guides but Santiago Salazar was my favorite guide he is very knowledgeable about where and when to photograph wildlife. He did not pick up his camera and shoot pictures like some others do. He was more interested in what we needed to get. We were a group of 2 with some health issues and he made it so easy to do the small hikes that were necessary to get to some blinds. I would not hesitate to do a trip with him in the future.
