Our adventure continues with a visit to the majestic Chimborazo Volcano, Ecuador’s highest peak and the closest point on Earth to the sun. In the Andean highlands, we’ll take in sweeping views of the páramo, home to wild vicuñas, alpacas, and unique high-altitude flora. Afterward, we make our way to the legendary Devil’s Nose, an iconic mountain with a dramatic railway route once considered the most challenging engineering project of its time. We’ll enjoy a scenic hike to the best viewpoint, admiring the dramatic landscapes carved by the Andes. As the day winds down, we continue our journey south, arriving in the charming city of Cuenca for an overnight stay. This day is the perfect blend of natural grandeur, history, and unforgettable Andean scenery.
