About your trip

Radical Peace Yin Yoga Retreat June 12-14, 2026 at Willow Springs Lodge in North San Juan CA.

Theme: If we calm our own mind and bodies through healing modalities, such as yoga, acupressure, and meditation, we can bring that calmness to others.  So the practice becomes a way to start the journey of bringing peace to our family, friends, and community.  In a moment of anger or hurt, it can be a radical step to use the tools of yoga to create a pause before responding, so that your wisest self shines through.


Content: You will learn 3 self care acupressure points to promote your inner peace while attending yin yoga classes taught by KC Chapman.  Melissa Domingo will guide you in a relaxing yoga nidra session and Daniel will teach a qigong class for healthy living.  Kerry Cataline will lead you in a Sound healing session with her bowls and gong. Delicious food will be provided by Denay and Martin of Sierra Nevada Camp Chef.

*This Retreat qualifies for 6 hours of CE credits with Yoga Alliance for Yoga Alliance registered teachers.


Your Retreat Leader:

KC Chapman is a yoga teacher and massage therapist that specializes in making these healing arts accessible and relatable to all.  She teaches in person in Nevada County CA at Sierra College and online.  You can learn more about her at her website: acuyogini.com  


Guest Teachers:

Melissa Domingo will guide you in a relaxing Yoga Nidra Session to help you sleep well.

Kerry Cataline of Bowls on Bodies will guide you in a group Sound Bath.

Daniel Perkins will teach an outdoor Qigong class for healthy living.


Location: Willow Springs Lodge in North San Juan is located in Nevada County, CA.  The Willow Springs Lodge is an 18 acres in the Tahoe National Forest and a short drive from the Yuba River.  The Lodge is designed for intimate gatherings for yoga, nature walks, and quiet contemplation.


At your online checkout there are retreat rules for you to agree to.  Before attending the Retreat, an additional liability waiver will be sent to you along with participant agreements.  At the first night of our Retreat, we will be revisiting the participant agreements together.

Illness/Covid policy:  No credit is offered except in the circumstance of participant developing Covid or other illness at Retreat or 3 days prior to Retreat

Sierra Nevada Camp Chef - Chef Martin Bullo and Denay Joy Woodman will provide nutritious healthy meals full of love and flavor.  Sierra Nevada Camp Chef is a local business that has years of experience hosting meals for campers and groups.  They work will all your dietary needs to nourish your body, heart, and spirit!

Meet in yoga studio for Yin Yoga, Acupressure, and Meditation Class #1. Please bring your yoga mat, journal, pen, + water bottle. Our 1st class includes: orientation to Willow Springs Lodge, group agreements and rules.
