Depart early at 4.30 am from a hotel located in Cusco and drive for 4 hours in our modern vans to the trailhead,  Upon arrival you enjoy a picnic breakfast prepared by your local chef.

After breakfast and a nice hot cup of Coca tea to help us with the 5000 plus, the hike begins with a 2-hour hike up to the top of Vinincunca mountain, also known as Rainbow Mountain. Throughout the route, you will be able to see hundreds of llamas and alpacas, hike along the snowcapped peaks of the Ausangate Mountain range, the highest in Cusco city. As we get closer to the top, the views just get more and more impressive with every meter we climb. At the same time, your tour guide explains you about the formation of the painted hills. When we finally reach the top of Rainbow Mountain, there will be very few or no people, since you are going ahead of the crowd. There is nothing more amazing than arriving at this place first and be the early birds to Rainbow Mountain.

After enjoying the beautiful views of the Peruvian Andes, contemplating the spectacular 360°-degree view from the top, we will take an extra 30-minutes hike to Red Valley,  another spectacular and inspiring place with landscapes that will take your breath away and is rarely visited by travelers. From here, we will head back to the beginning of the trail, where our lunch awaits us. We use local products to provide you the best of our gourmet Peruvian food prepared by our chef and later Come back to Cusco, arriving around 4:30 pm.
