About your trip

Re-Source & Essential Nature

with Laura Fuller, M.A., C.Ht., S.E.P.

January 3rd - 6th, 2026

Saturday 4 pm - Tuesday 11 am

Deep in the silent and unseen, a new way can begin.

Come empty into stillness and be held by the generative darkness of Winter in the Valley. Let your energy return to the purest root of your existence. Refine your direct relationship with truth and source. Release what is done, integrate the wisdom of all you have made it through. Redefine the foundations from which you will go forward from here.

For some plants in Winter, the energy rests in the roots. Outward expressions go dormant. From an outside observer, it may even appear that the plant is dead, but it is not. The energy goes to the roots to re-source. It is a great wisdom to take this pause. The process of return to essence, brings restoration - and an opportunity to refine the root from which you will grow forward from. This pause takes courage and gives incredible gifts of self-authority and peace. As we reclaim our direct root to source, we deepen our capacity to listen and choose.

During our time together, you will get to enjoy the beauty of nature of Zion National Park and also the beauty of the grounds and buildings of Nama-stay. Nama-stay is built with exquisite intelligence which deeply supports an inner organizing of energy. The space, the practices, and the energy of the group will support you to empty and deepen trust in the nurturing presence of life.

This intimate retreat will include:

Deeply held space for group connection, meditation and yoga to help you rest into essence, breathwork for meeting and mending any places where you got stuck or weakened, a tea ceremony for presence and profound connection, free time to rest and enjoy, and a guided process of contemplation where you will define the values that you want to live from this year. There will also be the options for private sessions, including talk-based sessions and massage sessions for support of heart, soul, and body. In free times, you are welcome to rent e-bikes to explore Zion National Park.

The timing of this retreat begins the year. We will leave the retreat on January 6th - Epiphany - and begin in a new way.

What we will be doing:

• Circle work & connection - We will create a space together of deep listening and sharing. Especially in a small group, the alchemy of group work is present and it becomes clear that each person is a part of the medicine. Circle work and work in partners will help you connect to the group and to yourself.

• Yoga - Yoga is a sweet, gentle way to cultivate peace in the body, mind, and soul. It supports you to meet yourself with kindness, rest and restore, and continue forward with reassurance and faith. Morning classes will be energizing, building strength, and helping focus the mind. Evening classes will be restorative and will lead into silent meditations. All levels of experience will be supported.

• Meditation - In the quiet and darkness of the mornings and evenings, we will go deep into meditation. This may include chanting, kriya, or breathing and focusing practices.

• Breathwork  - The term "Breathwork" refers to the technique of the consciously connected breath. It is a ceremonial use of the breath that will take you to states of revelation and healing. In the afternoons, we will do processes of contemplation that will lead into a session of breathwork that will support you in whatever healing is needing to be done.

• Contemplation of Values - over our 4 days together, you will be guided in a contemplation of values that you want to root into this year.

• Art Table  - We will build an art table together where anyone can come to explore and express. If you are willing, please bring some art supplies to contribute.

• Free time - There will be free time in the middle of the day. During this time, you can rest, journal, reflect, connect with others, or journey into the national park.

•Tea Ceremony A beautiful tea ceremony will be guided by Atonka Ma. Through presence and the magic of connection to nature, and sitting together in this practice, guidance and medicine will come.
