Day 01: (A Warm Welcome to Cairo)

 Upon arrival in Cairo, you'll be warmly greeted by your private representative who will ensure a seamless transition. Enjoy a comfortable transfer in a modern air-conditioned van to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay.

Giza Pyramids, Sphinx & the Egyptian Museum

 After breakfast, explore the Giza Plateau with a private Egyptologist, visiting the Great Pyramid Area, Valley Temple, and Great Sphinx for memorable photo opportunities. Enjoy a delicious Egyptian meal at a scenic restaurant overlooking the pyramids. Continue your journey through Cairo's pharaonic history with a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities to see King Tutankhamun's treasures and other artifacts. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Cairo / Luxor (East Bank of Luxor)

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, depart Cairo via private air-conditioned van to catch your domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, embark on a cultural tour of Luxor's East Bank, centered around the renowned Temple of Luxor and Karnak Temples. Accompanied by your Egyptologist guide, explore the vast Karnak Temples, one of Egypt's most visited sites and considered the largest religious complex globally. Continue to Luxor Temple, once linked to Karnak via the Luxor dromos, an avenue adorned with human-headed sphinxes. The temple is dedicated to the Theban triad: Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

West Bank of Luxor & Hot Air Balloon (Embark on Dahabiya Cruise)

Experience Luxor's beauty with a sunrise hot air balloon ride (optional Tour) over the West Bank, followed by a tour in a private van. Explore the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Then, embark on a peaceful Nile cruise aboard a Dahabiya, enjoying onboard meals and visiting El-Hegaz Island for a cultural walk and local home visit. Relax and enjoy dinner onboard as you continue your tranquil voyage.

Cultural & Historic Tour to El Kab & Edfu

At El Kab, settlements date back to around 3,000 BC, rare for Egypt, spanning Roman rule. Explore mud brick walls, tombs, and shrines, including Nekhbet and Thoth temples. Visit New Kingdom officials' decorated tombs.

After lunch aboard the dahabiya, sail to Edfu. Visit the grand Temple of Horus with hieroglyphs and nearby Tell Edfu's ancient houses. Time permitting, browse the local market. Relax with dinner onboard, immersing in the Nile's rhythms for a peaceful night.

Bisaw Island & Gabel El Selsela (Ancient Quarry).

 Disembarking at Bisaw Island and its village, we explore a local farm, meet residents, and discover the art of baking sun bread. Joining fishermen on the Nile, we learn their craft and enjoy their catch for dinner. Sail to El Selsela for a walk by the Nile, visiting ancient shrines and a massive sandstone quarry used for Luxor's temples. Afterward, enjoy a moonlit barbecue dinner onboard, followed by a peaceful night on board of the Dahabiya.

A unique visit to Kom Ombo & Daraw’s Camel Market

Near the dahabiya dock, explore the Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to Sobek and Horus, with views highlighting the Nile's power. Visit the Crocodile Museum featuring mummified crocodiles.

In El Daraw village, we prepare dinner Egyptian-style! A unique off the beaten track experience of shopping in the local market and interacting with the locals.  Learn about camels at a nearby barn. Explore a Nubian Town, tracing its evolution from ancient civilizations along the Nile.

Approaching Aswan, enjoy swimming or kayaking at the Nile (Optional). Inform us two days prior for kayak arrangements. 

Reflect on your dahabiya journey over lunch as we sail towards Aswan. Conclude with a farewell dinner, hoping your Dahabiya experience will be repeated.

Day 08:

Philae Temple, Flight Aswan/ Cairo, Fayoum Oasis

Early breakfast, checkout the Dahabiya and then take a motorboat to visit Philae temple located at Egilka Island, then Transfer to Aswan airport to catch your flight back to Cairo. 

Upon arrival to Cairo airport, our private representative will meet and assist. You for a transfer by private A/C van to El Fayoum oasis, for an ecological tour experience. Check in at a hotel in Tunis village. Overnight

Valley of the Whales Safari / Wadi El Rayan / Magic Lake

After breakfast, embark on a safari to Wadi Hitan Protected Area (Valley of the Whales) in a 4X4 Jeep with a guide. Located 90 km from Fayoum, this UNESCO World Heritage Site showcases 40-million-year-old whale skeletons. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Fayoum oasis / Cairo, Home Hosted dinner

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before visiting Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls and Magic Lake. Return to Cairo in the afternoon. In the evening, a unique cultural experience home-hosted dinner with an Egyptian family to learn about modern Egyptian lifestyle, Egyptian food and Egyptian social life. Overnight in Cairo.

Mediaeval Islamic & Coptic Cairo

Explore the Coptic hanging church and the synagogue of Ben-Ezra. Then the Citadel of Salah Eldin (12th Century, CE), featuring the Mohamed Ali Mosque. Enjoy lunch at El Azhar Park, offering stunning views of Cairo from atop a hill. Take a walking tour of El Muizz Street in Medieval Cairo (an open-air museum), renowned for its well-preserved medieval Islamic architecture, including mosques, houses, and markets—a vibrant place to immerse in Egyptian culture. Conclude with a visit to Khan El Khalili market. Back to the Hotel and overnight.
