Can you imagine a place where there are no cars and is surrounded by nature?

Tortuguero is that place in Costa Rica, where you will feel as a part of the natural environment. 

Spend your first night at a centennial house in Escazú and then 3 days and 2 nights Tortuguero. Depending on the season, you can witness the natural magic of a turtle nesting. 

Greeting and meeting at the Airport by our staff. 

You will see a sign with your name right after migration. They will let you know where your luggage will be and how to exit the airport. Right outside the airport door your guide will have another sign. We will implement all safe protocols.

Private guided transfer from the airport to Escazu.

Accommodation at a 150 years old house property of the Sheehy family. This house was built by the grandfather who had a big coffee farm all around it.

The house is now a Spiritual Retreat where you will have a guided Meditation or Yoga Lesson so you start the journey around Costa Rica with a balanced body and soul.

Welcome Dinner with the house owners.

Early morning, your guide will take you inplrivate transportation to  El Weibo Restaurant, at Guapiles,  where you will have breakfast. Then you will join the regular operation of Tortuguero.

Tortuguero is the most important region in the country for the nesting of the Green Turtle (Chelonia Mydas), which arrives to the northern Caribbean coast from July to October to lay eggs. After 60 days the eggs hatch and the beautiful reptiles come out of their egg shells.

To arrive to Tortuguero you will do a ground transfer from San Jose to the port of 4 hours approximately. Then comes the boat ride of 1.5hrs. A welcome cocktail will be waiting for you at your arrival in the Lodge. 

Lunch is included and then your will do a guided visit to the Green Turtle Museum (STC) and the picturesque town of Tortuguero.

Breakfast is included at the Lodge. 

Today you have time to relax at the turtle shape pool, rest or be part of the guided walks available. Short walk along the beach and guided tours of the hotel's private trails.

During the whole visit of Tortuguero you will have a bilingual guide, English-Spanish, throughout the tour.

If its Turtle Nesting Season please don’t hesitate to coordinate at the hotel the nocturnal tour.

Depending on the time of your departure flight, we will coodinate a private charter. You will fly from Tortuguero to San Jose. To Pavas Airport, where your guide will transfer you to the International Airport in private transportation.
