Join us this November in the serene beauty of the Algarve region of Portugal for a deeply nourishing wellness retreat designed to restore your body, quiet your mind, and reconnect you with what truly matters.

Each day will begin with guided meditation and mindful movement, followed by nourishing, locally sourced meals. Quinta Bonita takes great pride and joy in the culinary offerings. Afternoons offer a balance of enriching excursions-like nature hikes, E bike tours, cultural experiences, creative workshops-and time for rest, reflections or healing bodywork.

Breeze around the 2.5 acres enjoying the Italian gardens, hot tub soaks, sauna sessions and contrast cold therapy in the pool. Following our light lunch and biscuits and tea or coffee...or a glass of Portuguese wine...we venture out!

Set against the backdrop of Portugal's natural charm, this retreat is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, try new things and return home to yourself in community with others on a similar path. Our team.

Cancellation policy

All deposits are non-refundable.

For cancellation requests submitted with more than 90 days of retreat date: 100% of total amount (less deposit) will be refunded.

For cancellation requests submitted within 60 days of retreat date, 50% of total amount (less deposit) will be refunded.

Cancellation requests submitted within 59 days of the retreat, sorry but no refunds granted, no exceptions.

Nobody wants to cancel once your plans are made, but just incase, please consider purchasing travel insurance. Exceptions cannot be made for any reasons including weather, injury, illness, or personal emergencies.

No refunds or credits will be granted for failure to attend, complete, or for arriving late or leaving early.

Getting There

Faro is the closest airport to Qunita Bonita. It is about an hour from the property.

It is possible to fly into Lisbon, but this is a 3 hour+drive.

If you are able to arrive a day or 2 early to help with jet lag and arriving relaxed, this would be ideal.

Flights are direct to Lisbon from Boston. Car rental are very affordable and it's fun to drive to Lagos. I've done it both ways. This way is best in my opinion.

Transfers can be scheduled through Quinta Bonita if you need assistance.

What to Bring

The Algarve region is one of the sunniest in Europe with an average of 6 to 12 hours of sunlight per day.

Bring casual clothing that is comfortable. Clothes for stretching and working out, sweatshirts and sweaters or light jacket for cool nights, outdoor dining and the beach.

Don’t forget your swimsuit for the pool, sauna and the hot tub!

Hats, sunglasses and a water bottle.

No formal clothing is needed. VERY RELAXED atmosphere.

8:15-8:30am-Morning Meditation and Breathwork

8:30-9:30am- Vigorous Movement class (Mobility, Bodyweight Strength, Core)

10:30-11:30am-Nourishing and DELICIOUS Brunch.

Noon-1:00pm-3:30pm- Free Time/Rest/Optional Spa Treatments

-Time to nap, journal, read, enjoy the pool, walk the gardens, bike ride

3:30-6:30pm-Afternoon excursion or Workshop (examples)

Grounding and Dinner

We will all arrive at our beautiful and private boutique luxury oasis!

After settling in our rooms, we will gather for an opening ceremony and meet and greet. Following our welcome ceremony, we will enjoy a 4 course farm to table dinner gathered around the table.

Getting into our routine and our first hike!

We will start our first day of breathwork and fitness followed by our farm to table brunch! We will set out to hike the fisherman's trail and a grotto boat trip.

We will have dinner in the town of Lagos at local favorite spot.

Day 3

7 Valley Hanging Trail and wine tasting in Lagos

After our beautiful morning routine, we will set our for a BIG HIKE on a famous trail With a perfect ending of a wine tasting of famous Portuguese wine.

Day 4

Intuitive Healing sessions and Heliotropic Breathwork

Today we will enjoy lots of free time for massages, and we will have an amazing experience with a local expert. Holiotropic Breathwork to experience emotional and energetic release. Invite in an altered state of consciousness and close with a loving kindness meditation.
A powerful and emotional practice.

Followed by our last dinner together.

Today we will say goodbye after our final brunch. Rejuvenated, renewed and with hearts full of beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

Griffin Hughes is a wellness professional with over 20 years of experience of supporting people trsin, recover, and thrive. A certified strength and mobility personal trainer, massage therapist, indoor cycling coach , and founder of Griffin Hughes Wellness, she is also a mom who understands the demands of real life. Griffin teaches how to integrate strength training into everyday routines, blending fitness, recovery, community, and adventure. An avid athlete, surfer, and traveler, she brings resilience and action into all she offers.
